Print In Place Easter Egg

In addition to the recently released egg bunny, I decided to make another easter egg design, this time it is free 😊.

It is perfect for complementing your easter nest, or to to hold sweets, money, or other small gifts. The egg prints fully assembled with a working hinge and lock, which clicks into place.

The egg has approximately the size of a real egg and can also be easily upscaled in your slicer. I do not recommend to downscale the model, since the tolerances could get too small.

There are 4 different variants included, 3 with different patterns and a blank one, as well as a little egg holder to display your print.

There is also a multicolor 3MF for Bambu Studio included.

Depending on how well your first layer sticks to the printbed i recommend to use brims to make printing the first layer easier. If you are using brims, make sure to remove them cleanly afterwards to ensure the egg can close properly.

• Print orientation is already correct and should not be changed
• Recommended layer height up to 0.25mm
• 2-4 perimeters
• No supports
• 10-20% infill
• 0.4mm nozzle
• use brims, if you have trouble with the first layer adheasion.
