I designed this fixture to significantly reduce the pin cutting time for most of my projects, specifically for the Grand piano, which requires many pins of the same length.

This setup requires a one-time measurement and adjustment to cut pins of the same lengths quickly and consistently.

I've spent some time modularising the design to expand its functionality such that new cutting blocks can be desigined specific to certain tasks.

I have not tested it myself but it should fit all dremel models due to the adjustable design for the mounts. CAD files are provided for modification

3D printing settings

All parts to are printed in PLA, 20-30% infill, 3 outer perimeters

Torsion springs must be printed in PETG: 6 outer wall perimeters (the coil segment must be fully solid to produce the necessary tension)

Bearing 607zz (7x19x6mm) - 4pcs [Pivot Bearings]

M3x6 screw - 2pcs [dove tail block stopper]

M3x12/14 screw - 30pcs [general mounting screws]

M3x18/20 screw - 6pcs [for torsion spring mount]

M3x40 screw - 4pcs [Dremel Clamp]

M3 Hex Nut - 4pxs [Dremel Clamp]

Optional:

Foam tape [to prevent clamping marks on dremel and serves as anti-vibration pads for the base]
