3D model description

I'm excited to share my Tiger design! This is 100% Print-in-place, where one body part pre-supports another as it builds upwards. No additional supports needed! Once printed, you just have to wiggle the joints to break the small contact points and free up the articulation (see video).

I have included a pre-painted .3mf file for you multicolor printing enthusiasts. The file will work in both Bambu Studio and PrusaSlicer.

Please watch This Video on the best way to free up the joints (demo'd on the Bunny model)! Be use extra care when printing in more brittle filaments like silks. Please use 3 walls if you use a 0.4mm nozzle!

Please, share photos of your makes! I would love to see them!

3D printing settings

  • Print-In-Place. Pre-supported. No additional supports needed. Several joints must be wiggled and "cracked" free in order to articulate them. Be Extra careful with brittle filaments, like silks
  • 10-20% Infill.
  • 3 Walls if using a 0.4mm nozzle. <--This is very important!
  • .3mf File Included! This file works in both PrusaSlicer and Bambu Studio. It includes the painted model, but you must still edit the print settings to match your machine, filament, and the above recommendations.

Please watch This Video on the best way to free up the joints (demo'd on the Bunny model)!

Successfully printed down to 65% scale, but YMMV.

**This model was designed for FDM printing. It was not designed for Resin printing, and I cannot guarantee good/functional results. Resin print at your own risk.*

Attention: Not suitable for unsupervised play by small children or pets, as small parts can pose a choking hazard if broken off due to rough play. Not recommended for children under 3.
