Adorable Articulated Axolotl, Print-In-Place Body, Snap-Fit Head, Cute Flexi

I hope you enjoy this articulated Axolotl! My goal was to create a cute critter with carefully designed articulations that will pose nicely, wiggle just right, and put smiles on peoples faces.  Print in different sizes, colors, or create unique paint jobs to make your own unique Axolotl family!

- Head with Pre-Supports: Easily Snap-Fit to Body. Built-in removable supports. No need to generate supports in the slicer!
- Body with Pre-Supported Tail & Custom Brims: Built-in removable brims, and supports on the tail for extra security

- Extras:
- Head_BallJointPreSupported: Easily Snap-Fit to Body, Ball joint is pre-supported. Requires additional Supports
-Head No PreSupports: For those that prefer to completely generate their own supports. Make sure to use touching buildplate only for the supports.
- Body with Custom Brims: Print-in-Place, Brim geo is built in so no need to generate one.
- Body: Print-In-Place, No Supports - aside from a brim/raft for bed adhesion, if needed. Use one of the above versions if having adhesion issues.

15-20% Infill.
3 Walls.

**I highly recommend using the pre-supported versions of the Head & Body. Those will be the the most consistent and simplest way to print them. The other versions are included for more experienced users, who want more customization.*

Though I recommend using the pre-supported files, and not generating supports in the slicer, some people may prefer to. For a demonstration of how I use Cura's support blockers to print the Head and Body at the same time, please check out this video. It's super easy!

If the custom brim shapes aren't showing up in your slice, try lowering your Initial/First Layer Height.

Scale to your liking!  100% creates a 10" Axolotl, so that will make it easy to scale it to your desired size. (80% = 8",  75% = 7.5", etc.)  Depending on your printer tolerances, you should be able to print close to 60-65% before the joint function may start to become compromised. YMMV

**This model was designed for FDM printing. It was not designed for Resin printing, and I cannot guarantee good/functional results. Resin print at your own risk.*

Attention: Not suitable for unsupervised play by small children or pets, as small parts can pose a choking hazard if broken off due to rough play. Not recommended for children under 3.
