FM25-036 T16 / M3 Stuart Early Track [Lazy Tracks]
The T16 M3 Stuart Early LAZY TRACKS deliver the authentic look and fit of the early-war light tank’s narrow,
sharply detailed track design—without the struggle of individual link assembly.
The T16 pattern, used on early M3 and M3A1 Stuarts, features narrow rubber pads with center guides, typical for
U.S. light tanks from late 1941 through mid-1943. These tracks saw combat in the North African desert, continued
into the Italian Campaign, and were also widely used in the Pacific Theater, where the Stuart was a mainstay of
jungle, island, and reconnaissance operations.
These pre-assembled LAZY TRACKS combine all advantages in one:
the fast and frustration-free installation of vinyl tracks, the crisp fidelity of advanced 3D printing, and the
natural, metal-like sag normally seen only on metal sets. Their subtle flexibility ensures a perfect, realistic
drape over uneven terrain and diorama bases.
For best results, gently warm the tracks in hot water or with a hairdryer before shaping them over
rugged terrain.
Keep drive sprocket and idler wheel unglued during the initial setup—secure them permanently only after alignment
is perfect.
Fits all common 1/35 M3 / M5 Stuart plastic kits using T16-type tracks.

In case of the resin being still soft and sticky, lay the part into the sunlight for a few hours.
(remove support structure beforehand! gently heat up the part with a hairdryer to make soften the supports)
Use a side cutter to detach the support structure from the model.(use a hairdryer to heat up the part gently
to prevent part from breaking!)
Bumps and remains of the support can easily be filed off. Gaps can be filled with putty.
