I thought it would be a good idea to make a "v2" version of the gothic tealight fireplace for Halloween 2025!
Different in shape and detail, it's just as adorable as last year's small fireplace. Plus, it's just as easy to print and assemble!
This year, I included large candles in the package. There are two sizes, short and tall.
You'll also find my traditional pumpkins.
On the corners of the base, you can either place the candles or the pumpkins. Both will fit onto the pegs at the corners of the base.
In my photos, I took the pumpkins and printed them in different sizes. There's only one format in the STL files (the one that fits the base pegs), but feel free to resize them to get a nice variety, like in my photos. Don't forget to resize the stem too!!!
To safely illuminate your fireplace, use battery-operated tealights like those found on Amazon. You can even find rechargeable ones with a remote control, which are extremely practical for decorations for various holidays.
That being said, everything prints without any supports!
All parts are placed in the correct orientation for printing. If I've missed one, as I sometimes do, please let me know! :)
Parts with color changes (candles) can be printed on any printer with a color change at the correct layer.
A BambuLab file with the settings and color changes already set is also provided. Keep in mind that my color changes are by layers, not painted, so you must slice the plate first to be able to see the color changes in the preview.
NOTE: The candle wicks are simply small pieces of black filament glued into the candle hole and cut to the desired length.
Follow the instructions carefully, as some parts must be glued before others, and some should not be glued at all.
For the "black" of the fireplace, I used "Ash Gray" from the PanChroma (formerly Polyterra) series by Polymaker. It gives a beautiful shade that allows for easy visibility of details, but the end result is more black than gray.
For the rest, everything is well defined in the instructions, and the whole project is still very easy and relatively quick.
So that's it!
I wish you lots of fun and I'll be back soon with some news and new models!
Have fun, my friends! Keep printing!
Pascal
