Spring is back again; time for some plastic-pottery!

To have my baby-plants grow up in a decorative manner, I've made 3 cache-pots (is this the proper term? I'd call it "Übertopf" in my mother tounge) featuring a honeycombish pattern. As there's no runoff for excess water I recommend not to plant your plants directly into these pots.

A small pot with a squarish footprint intented to fit transplants before their first repotting.

I made this one with 0,2mm layer height, single-walled (2 walls and cura 2.7 fails at combing which is an essential feature when printing in wood), with Extrudr Fichte (Spruce) filament.

I haven't printed that one yet, but I plan to do it in 0,2mm as well, but maybe in PETG as this will need some serious layer adhesion which isn't the best property of wood-filled plastics. The spring mechanism however MUST be printed in something flexy like PETG or PC in order to install it without destroying anything. I designed the pot to use no support; that's also the reason why the mechanism is kind of awkward.

If you feel insecure about watertightness, I recommend painting the inside of the pots with epoxy or something similar.
