The AM-17 is a 5.45x39mm modern russian carbine, mechanically the successor of the Dragunov MA from the 70's and is meant to replace the AKS-74u series. It has a longer version, the AM-17M with a little different (mostly longer) handguard and a rifle length barrel. There is also a 9x39 suppressed version, the AMB-17.

Real one is almost completely polimer on the outside, so an ideal candidate for 3D printing.
Both the carbine length AM-17 and the rifle length AM-17M is included. There are prototypes IRL chambered in 7.62x39 so theoretically 7.62 mags could also be considered accurate.
Use AK-12/15 mags for a proper look!
Handguard looks like M-lok because IT IS.
Access to the back of the gearbox for spring change is as fast as it gets (with QD spring change gearboxes obviously). Just fold the stock and there you have it!
The replica opens up just like the real steel! To achieve this, you have to remove the spring loaded ballpin from the back, pull the the front forward about 10mm (0.4 inch) to separate the hop-up and the gearbox and then go ahead and pivot open the handguard-upper-stock (also including the barrel and hop-up) from the lower (containing the gearbox obviously). To my knowledge, this takedowm mechanism is unique in the world of airsoft AEGs (with the exclusion of split gearboxes).
ASSEMBLY VIDEO (Assembly is virtually identical to the AMB-17)

You'll need a ver3 AK gearbox and an AK hop-up chamber. To feed this beauty you need AK mags (Cyma is fine).
The outer barrel is compatible with Cyma AKs-74u outer barrels (AM-17) or Cyma full length AK outer barrels (AM-17M). I included my reinforced outer barrel designs as well.
UPDATE
I included a two-piece outer barrel design for easier printing
UPDATE
I added cutouts to the handguard and the upper so that now you can fit through a T-connector (Dean-connector) and thus have the option to put the battery in the handguard.
UPDATE
Added a gasblock for the rifle length AM-17M version to help stabilise the barrel. Mount it with an M3x16mm or slightly shorter knurled pin to the barrel and an M4x25-30mm sunkenhead bolt and hexnut to the top of the handguard.
Stock is length-adjustable and folding.
The fire selector is ambidextrous, as in the left one is connected to the right. It's actually working, not just for show.
Charging handle can be set up to either side.
With the reinforced stock, you need to fold it before you can separate the upper from the lower. The original stock lets you do it with the stock extended, just like the real thing.
The stock has a QD hole.
