AK-ish Upper Kit for AAP-01

AK-ish Upper assembly for AAP-01

1.To begin assembly process, start with a stock AAP-01, remove original aap-01 outer barrel/hopup and install the hopup onto the outer barrel for this kit, goes on AAP same as original outer barrel.

2.Install Top Cover for outer barrel, which needs an M3 flat screw (28-30MM Long) and M3 nut to pinch onto outer barrel top rail.

3.Remove the rear sight and bolt, slide the Upper Top Cover on, and should align with the Outer Barrel Top Cover hinge. Reinstall the Bolt, then insert the Bolt Lock(Picatinny, Rear Sight, or Stock Rail Profile) over where the Rear sight went, and secure it with x2 M3 Flat Screws(10MM Long).

If Using the Rear Stock Rail Bolt Stop, you will need the M3x10MM Long Flat Screws PLUS x1pc. M3x45MM Long Flat Screw with an M3 Hex Nut. Remove the Upper Rear Pin on the AAP Lower, then insert the RSRBS as any other bolt stop, and insert a spacers where the side pin openings are. Then insert the M3x45MM Flat Screw thru the RSRBS and spacers, meeting the M3 Hex Nut on the opposite side, tighten, and its good to go.

4.Lock the Outer barrel cover and Upper Cover together with an M3 Flat screw(21MM Long minimum, 25MM at most) and a M3 Hex Nut. If the hinge is not properly aligned, then loosen the Outer Barrel Top Cover and adjust to alignment. Take caution when tightening.

5.Screw on the under barrel picatinny rail for the outer barrel.

6.Slide on the Barrel Grip onto the underbarrel rail, and secure it with an M5 Flat screw(35MM Long) and a M5 Hex nut. Do note, the Barrel Grip prevents the upper assembly from opening, so remove if you need to open your gun.

7.Take the Stud, and slide the Front Sight Post on the threaded end, then slide the Handguard Plate on behind the Sight Post, then screw on the Threaded End onto the Outer Barrel. Tighten until Handguard plate and Sight Post are snug on.

8.Adjust the sight post to be standing up straight, aligned with your Rear Sight Bolt Lock, and lock it onto the Threaded End with x2 M3 Hex Nuts and x2 M3 10MM long countersunk screws. Take caution when tightening the screws.

9.Lastly Screw on the Sight Post Post, and secure it with an M3 Set Screw. You can screw an M5 Screw onto the Sight Post hole to slightly open up the hole, making it easier to screw on the Sight Post Post.

-Rear Bolt Lock: M3 Countersunk Screw, 10MM Long, x2 pcs.
-Outer Barrel Top Cover: M3 Countersunk Screw, 28-30MM Long, x1 pc. + M3 Hex Nut, x1 pc.
-Outer Barrel Grip: M5 Countersunk Screw, 35MM Long, x1 pc. + M5 Hex Nut, x1 pc.
-Bottom Rail for Outer Barrel: M3 Countersunk Screw, 8MM Long, x2 pcs.
-Front Sight Post: M3 Countersunk Screw, 10MM Long, x2 pcs. + M3 Hex Nut, x2 pc.
-Rear Bolt Stop Stock Rail: x2pcs. M3x10MM Long, Flat Head Screws, + x1 pc.M3x45MM Long Flat Screw with an M3 Hex Nut.
