The Moon City, upgraded again. This time I went all out with the lighting aspect of the design, it's printed from 3 pieces allowing the use of translucent filaments for good looking lighting effects. Wiring is also a lot easier with the parts separate, and you can choose your own color scheme!
For my lighting setup I simply used "fairy light" LEDs that are on a copper wire you can twist and shape as you want, probably not the best option but definitely the easist and fastest to setup.
I've also included a 2 piece version if ligting isn't your thing and you just want dual color Moon City.
NO SUPPORTS, nothing special settings wise. Low or no infill for the inner shell gives best lighting results.
I'm someone who always admired artists, but never managed to create anything of my own, not untill I discovered 3D printing.
The first time I held my own creation in my hand, I knew this was my thing, and it has been ever since. Designing and especially learning HOW, is a passion for me.
Almost all my models are made to learn something in the process, and that keeps me improving and branching out to new things. A major motivation also has been the community, who have encouraged and supported my efforts to a point I never dreamed possible!
