any chance of egtting a blank one? I want to put a design and text on it for my wedding
Just added a blank one (2 slots) as a downloadable STL file - please check if it works :) All the best!
for some reason my k1 max keeps telling me there is a 2514 error. I can't seem to find the problem. I'm running glitter PLA with a .60 nozzle. any idea?
Hi I purchased the PROTO-GYROSCOPE / Valentines heart beer coaster / PROTO-GYROSCOPE I have the problem I print it on PLA and the gaps are pretty tight its all rough and attached and doesnt spin. I would like to have the designs separated rings or maybe maybe print in place with bigger gaps? Thanks you!
Hi, I'm really interested in this but have a Instax square. Would it be possible to change the dimensions to fit pictures from the square at all?
Olá,
Ao realizar a impressão da parte que gira, não utilizei suporte, mesmo assim não conseguir que mover as peças, ficaram totalmente grudadas.
Hey there!
I purchased your hexagonal piggy bank design and LOVE it, however, I have an issue with the lid not screwing in correctly despite the size for both the main bank and lid being the same scale.
Do you have any tips for making this work that maybe I’m not addressing when I slice my files?
Can I sell 3d printing of models?
Hello! If you want to sell 3D printings of my models - having an active access on my Patreon gives you rights to sell 3D printed objects on any platform you like (not to share my digital files, they are never for resale).
Here is the link:
Have a good day!
I am new at 3-D printing so maybe I have done something wrong but I have printed the beer gyroscope coaster 4 times and each time it prints the top and bottom perfectly but the left and right sides are fused together with no separations in the rings that should be able to open. How can this print perfectly on half of the print but be fused on the other half?
Hello! Try to print a simple calibration cube and measure if every dimensions are correct (width, height and depth) - it's possible that your printer moves differently in different axes, to be honest it can be caused by stepper motors, belt tension etc. - a lot of things to considerate; it's possible to print the coaster part after part and assembly it later, I have tried it and PLA is flexible enough to do it. I can also prepare a version with bigger gaps and upload it for you, but I can't guarantee that it will help, because even now the gap between rings is pretty big.

Hello TOPROTOTYP, Loving your designs.. was wondering if you might have a patreon account...
Thanks, it means a lot to me!
I’m working on creating one; I’ll update my bio and descriptions of uploaded models once it’s finished :).
Hello! There is no need to „break the print”, because there are no internal supports inside hinges (assuming that you don’t use a brim). If the movement of the hinge is somehow restricted after printing, and you have to use force to open it - its likely that your printer has some calibration issues. Can you provide any pictures?
Do you use supports?
Are you sure that the flowrate of your printer is calibrated?
Did you try to print any „tolerance test” models?
I think I figured it out. Im going to try and print it again and see but I believe it was a mistake i was making when removing it from the bed and not thinking about how this actually was supposed to work.
Hi im using cura and i cant seem to get this to print without the hinges breaking when i go to pull it apart to put pictures in it. Do you have any tips?
