I assume you mean the level crossing gates. The gear wheel sits under the gate post. There is a cover and base which fits under this. This has a slot which fits the contriol lever. The pegs on the control lever move the gear wheel moving the gate.
Great thanks. I will order today
Hi, I also bought Cabina Ruston Bucyrus RB10 (versão tardia) e chassis estático à escala 1/87 and need more information on how to assemble the kit. Would like more pics too. Thanks
Send to guimen68@gmail.com
it is more a set of parts rather than a kit. Ihave added another drawing to listing which shows where parts fit. With the smaller scalr you will need to remove the rod inside the main jib. For more information I suggest checking out photos of real machine.
Thanks! Can you send the part where the main jib touches the cab? It's missing
not sure what part. the jib fits the holder next to cab.
Sorry, the HOLDER is missing
Mine is 1/87
the holder(actualy called a shpper shaft )is one of the file of parts
Mine didn't... Only 5 parts: main jib, bucket jib, bucket botton, bucket pulley and jib holder (piece inside the main jib that slides the bucket jib). The holder I stated is the triangular piece that holds the main jib to the cab. Send me an email that I will explain: guimen68@gmail.com
Sorry for my technical english...
the part you mean was not in my original design in 2018. A couple of years ago I added it in larger scales only as I thought it might be too weak for smaller scales. I have now added the extra detail I had put on the larger scales to sizes down to 1/87. Both the simpler cab and more detailed cab are included.
Can you send me? I will edit it...
it is available to download. won't cost you anything to download again.
Great! Thanks
Hi, more information and pics about the turntables and the paved rails. The ads don't show much thing! Thanks
My email: guimen68@gmail.com
For paved track, rails shoud be fitted into grooves at ends. Some cleaning out may be needed. The rails fit in a similar way on the tuntable. The control lever fits under te turntable, which then sits on base with surround. I did a page about original version of this turntable
https://www.rue-d-etropal.com/3D-printing/Turntable-build.htm .
I modified design with separate base so it would print on home printers , but the way it works is basically the same.
Great! Didn't know you web page... Regards!
do you make chassis for your coaches
sorry no. I have done some bogies, but decent scale drawings for coach chassis are rare.
do you make chassis for your coaches
sorry no
Re: single level crossing OO/HO 16.5mm gauge plus
Hello, thanks for a nice design I have downloaded the files but cannot find any gears or mechanism within them, please could you help?
Best regards
Pete
sory about that, added the gear to listing so you should be able to download new version at no extra charge.
Okay, I'm interested in Italian passenger carriages. If you produce them in the future, I'd be happy to buy them. Thanks, Claudio.
Hello Recreation2
I have purchased your Simplex Armored Tractors today and need to print in 7/8 scale.
Unfortunately, the full cab will not fit in my printer volume. Do you have the drawing in separate parts so I can print and then glue after printing?
Very nice models
Many thanks
Ross
hi,
thankyou for buying dwnload.
I have not done a split down version. The original design was done for Shapeways to be printed in one piece.
My understanding is that stl files can be edited and I have seen it done. Possibly part of the slicing process . I have not been involved in printing myself.
hyello, i m looking for your nice models. Do you have some italian models ?
grazie, Clauio
sorry, no Italian models

Hi there
I’m interested in buying some of your Tralee and dingle rolling stock files for 45mm track and some for N gauge track (roughly) just wondering what gauge track the 1:32, 1:43 and 1:100 scales are for
Thank you
for 3ft gauge 1/32 is 28.5 so close to 32mm gauge , 1/43 would be 21mm, and 1/100 is close to 9mm gauge.45mm gauge is about 1/20 scale.
Hi I bought the 1/87 scale S160 and was wondering what chassis did you design it for?
Hi there,
I have 3d printed your LNER dynamometer car in N. What chassis does it use so I can get one? I have tried a Thompson 50'brake but its not quite right
Kind regards
hi,
there is no specific chassis. I have designed most of my bogie coaches to take a chassis plate fitted inside bottom of coach. Fit bogies and any chassis detail to this plate. For bogies suggest Hornby Gresley bogies a easiest option.
Not sure which length the bogies were on this coach, I have done the Gresley bogies in various lengths(8ft,8ft 6in and 10ft). You would need to resize up from HO to OO .
Hi there, just wondering what size wheels are needed for your 1/43 Wisbech and upwell tramway 4 wheel coach?
hi
the wheels on coach were 2ft 9in diameter which I think Slaters do. This comes out as 19.25mm. I am planning to use some old Lima wagon wheels which are 19.5mm diameter which is close enough for me.
Hi, do you do a class 378 EMU?
Kind regards Shaun
sorry,not done
Hi,
How do I place an order for a N.E.R inspection saloon in 1/76 scaleI have seen, as I do not have a 3d printer ? Help please
You can order a download of the printfile which you can then upload or take to anyone offering 3d print services.
Hi Simon,
Do you have any plans in the future to make the files for fuel tanks / battery boxes for classes 23, 37 and 41 locomotives?
Regards Alex.
sorry, no plans.
Good morning , I am currently modelling Slinfold in 4mm , I ahve downloaded the station STL in 1/76 but its too big for my printer , before I hack it apart do you have it in smaller sections by any chance ?
Loving the work
Malcolm
I originall did designs for printing by Shapways so size was not an issue. Never got round to actually getting a print though. The statio had fascinated me from when it appeared in RM. I used to live between Bramley and Cranleigh so knew the line , sadly after closure. I think there wre some faults in the model shown in RM, and I believe I have corrected ome of those. The article I think suggested it was base on generic info know, The main issue I had was detail in the enclosed yard which was not photographed.
I would suggest splitting design. I think the main building minus yard should be small enough to print.
understood , the statioin RM was actually rudgiwick, the eact same but mirror image , I have original plans of the buildings.
I lived in Slinfold from 1966 to 1987 very near the station. been completing the model for about 40 years now !!!!
Just checked book with Vivien Thompson's drawings which were originally in RM and these match photos in other books. Rudgewick was similar , opposite way around , with what looks like a different extension on side. Again difficult as not many photos.
Not much remained of any structures when we moved to Grafham in 1971. Bramley just an end wall. Cranleigh was already a car park. I think there as a council tip near Baynards which we went to often, seem to remember getting part of an old garden seat there which I believed to be railway related but probably was not.
I did a holiday driving job at a laundry next to Bramley station , so got to travel round the area quite a bit.
A few years later I did some woodland clearence at Run Common. I think we stayed down near Rudgewick. The chap who had brought us in had retired down that way, and had worked for council in London before then. He had been involved in getting our base in London up and running. He recounted stories about Oliver Reed who either lived down that way or visited a lot.
I was thinking of using the Slinfold design for a project to create a fictional railway(planned I believe) through Dunsfold. I decided it was not suitable and used the uof the new airfield being built to suggest a new station was built. I used the Hornby Dublo building . I also used the plans to electrify the line to Cranleigh back inthe early 60s, to justify my electrying a line to Dunsfold. As someone with experience of bus transport in the area I can see the avantages, especially with the plans to build on the old airfield .
So I was looking at your 1/76 J70,
What chassis would you recommend be used with it?
Thanks
as the loco has side skirts I would use any motor bogie, but if you want interior then something like a Tenshodo motor bogie is probably best option.
Hi Simon just got my first printer : Bambu A1 mini with 0.2mm nozzle. I mainly intend to do buildings , bridges etc but had a go at the MSLR brake coach in 3mm (3104904) on the finest settings with excelent results (no need for resin). Thank you for offering your projects on Cults at a reasonable cost.
Regards
Jon
nice to hear.
Hi, I downloaded and printed your NER T2 files then noticed that the tender frame lozenge cut outs are missing. I cut your NER P3 tender along the footplate line and used those instead to make a self-trimming tender.
Hi , clicked on the same model twice so bought twice , refund for one please
hi,
according to my sales list you have only one download I presume for Slinfold station. I don't think you have been charged twice .
I checked again and realised it was on two different dates. Not so easy to spot as it a lot of downloads to go through. Refunded second payment now.
Hi ,very impressed with your models , do you have any models of the row of shops as non perspective & also the small row of terrace house and shop not on a slope , many thanks
Hi. I have a range of flat street terraced shops and houses . All my designs can be found via my own website https://www.rue-d-etropal.com/.
I have done some Highland stock, not much. Also some pre 1923 stock from other railways which could have found its way onto other smaller railways.
All my designs can be found on my website www.rue-d-etropal.com. listed by post grouping railway for coaches.
Hi
Good evening, among all your files, would some be usable for the pre-grouping period like the Highland Railway?
Regards
Daniel
I have done a of of pre grouping coaches fromvarious railways. For list please please check links from my own website https://www.rue-d-etropal.com/
thank you I'll check the website
Hi there what’s happened to all your railway designs I can’t seem to see most of them on here now
as far as Iknow, nothing has changed. I can still access files directly from my own website
www.rue-d-etropal.com
which lists them in type and railway company
