All of your recent designs have the “No AI” label, but many of them show clear signs of having been AI-generated. Some of them are even advertised by the 2D images presumably used as the AI prompts. Also, you’ve published 154 new designs in the last week alone. Unless there’s an entire team of 3D sculptors behind this account, it’s humanly impossible to make that many 3D models that fast without generative AI.
Cults3D currently has no rule against selling AI-generated 3D models, but if sellers are going to use it, they should at least be honest and use the “Made with AI” label.
Also, please stop including the meta tags “articulated”, “customizable” and “functional part” in your design description pages. None of those tags apply to any of your designs. And speaking as a Cults3D shopper who regularly searches for articulated models, it’s extremely annoying to have your search results clogged by dozens of designs that have nothing to do with your search query.
Thank you very much for your message and for taking the time to share such detailed feedback.
I understand your concerns and I take them seriously.
I will review my future uploads more carefully to ensure that the tags and categories are accurate and do not interfere with other users’ search results.
Regarding the “No AI” and “Made with AI” labels, I also appreciate your comment. I will work on being more transparent to avoid any misunderstandings.
Thank you again for your feedback — it really helps me improve the quality of my content on Cults3D.
With all due respect, if you want to express appreciation for my feedback, you should do so through action as much as words. It has been over 2 weeks since you responded to my comment, and all the new designs you have been publishing still have the “No AI” label and the “articulated”, “customizable” and “functional part” meta tags.
I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, but there are A LOT of AI-generated 3D models being published on Cults3D nowadays, and the majority of the people creating them show no indication that they care to check whether their designs are 3D-printable, that their descriptions (usually also AI-generated) are accurate, that the tags are applicable, or that they have any actual interest in the 3D-printing hobby beyond making money off their mass-produced designs.
Note that I’m not accusing you of being one of these people. What I am saying is, don’t be part of the problem. If you genuinely care about the work you do and the customers who buy your designs, make an effort to be visibly better than the people who don’t care about theirs.
