Thanks! I hope you enjoy the Blast boat. Be sure to post a Make so everyone can see it.
Amazing models, so far I've only got the Blast Boat, and it's amazing. Next salary I will get 2 or 3 more :D
I appreciate the compliment! I will make art until I am not able. Tell your friends and give what your heart tells you to.
Oh definitely, I have a shit salary, but I will never take a model for free :)
I am happy knowing that I have a bunch of my art around the world, because when I am gone most of the Star Wars stuff I have collected since the original films will end up sold or in the garbage.
I know that feeling. Personally I plant trees, I hope they'll make a difference somehow.
What scale are your ships? I'd like to use them for the X-Wing game, but I need to know if they're the correct scale. Thanks.
I draw my designs primarily in TinkerCAD and I reference various pictures that I find on the internet or come up with my own ideas. I have not given much thought to scale, as my work is mainly space fantasy. When printing a model I tend to reference the size of the cockpit to a similar model; single pilot to a single pilot comparison or relative size to occupants to make a judgement on size. It comes down to a little math but mostly I focus on the art. I do not have a set “scale” that I create in. Sorry, I will try to be more mindful if I add to my designs.
It would be helpful if future designs included the dimensions of the ships. Thank you for your response.
