Hi @Traedogdesigns, I noticed the recommended build params and was wondering if there is an opportunity to create a version that would fit to 220 × 220 × 220 mm (Flashforge bed). Not entirely sure where there might be fat to trim on the design, but would love to snag this file for our bourbon group to use for tastings.

Cheers~

Hey @bdoranslc - thanks for reaching out and showing interest. I wouldn't say it's a priority, but I'm willing to give best effort on making an alternate design for a smaller print bed. I also have a few of these partially assembled that we could complete and ship to you for a price if that makes more sense.

My Name is Wayne Conlon. A couple of days ago, I purchased the file for TD Distillery Blind Barrel. It's a very nice item but when I went to print it , I found out it was too large to print on my printer. I own a Prusa MK3+. The average size printer most people have. I double checked and recorded the Ad., and it doesn't tell me the size of the item anywhere. Usually when it does not give the dimensions, the item will fit in any average size printer. Your file does not. I cannot use the file. Please refund my money.

      Thank You

Hi Wayne, sorry for the trouble. Refund issued and listing description updated with recommended build volume. I hope you would consider using the refund to have a 3rd party print the files for you to enjoy.

Print was successful and looks great but it is not spinning freely like intended. You have to keep turning the gear, you can just “spin it”

Is this common or has this happened before? If so, what’s a probably issue or fix? Thanks!

Can’t just “spin it” ***

Yeah, straight out of the package, the "Lazy Susan" doesn't give a great free-spinning experience. There is a workaround in the Instructions PDF in section 2.2.2 on page 11 that details removing the thick factory grease, allowing for the bearing to spin more freely. We're still exploring better out-of-box solutions and will update the model if/when a suitable alternative is found. Thank you for your feedback.

Just a question. No where on the cults site is there anything about not being able sell prints of the whiskey spinner.
When I hit download, saw that it said for personal use. Is that correct? For the amount for just the STL, seems there would be open print use.

Howdy! On the list page, there's a license section that shows what the files are marked for. Apparently the CULTS-PU (personal use) is the default when a listing gets published. I've changed it to CULTS CU-ND - Commercial Use - No Derivative, so feel free to print and sell. Sorry for the confusion.

hi TD, can you please double check the M4x8.1 thread inserts?
The ones provided in the amazon link doesn't seem to fit.
Thanks in advance!

Hey Turbo, I'll get a test print going and take some measurements to validate what's listed in the PDF and get back to you with what's going on. Sorry for the trouble.

Couple questions on the Blind Barrel.
The top barrel, is it split to reduce support requirements, dowels to put together?
Same with base unit, is it modular, soas not needing supports?
Just trying to get an idea on what additional needs there are before printing.

Hi! Yes, the barrel prints in 2 pieces - the barrel body & the top that sets on a ridge and is glued in. The base prints in 4 different sections that are bolted together. The only required supports are the for barrel body (where the barrel indexes on the base) and under the glass containers (where the container interfaces with the turntable). There is a detailed instruction PDF included with a full parts list as well to try and make completing this project easier.

Do you have the assembly instructions? I just downloaded and see the parts list, but I don' t see how to put it together.
