Hola

¿el modelo Submarino clase S-80 Plus modelo, se puede imprimir en resina o en FDM?
Un saludo

Model 3122357 Virginia class submarine. Do you have pictures of the block IV?

Hey sorry to bother you. I'm brand new to printing but want to print some of your stuff. I just bought the ELEGOO Saturn 3 Ultra. Are your models broken down enough to print on my printer? Or do I need a larger one for your prints? Looking at the Freerunner and Bullshark to start.

Hey!

The Reefrunner, Riot Squad and Hover Bikes will fit on all printers (except the tiny gimmick printers) and I regularly print them on my AC Mono 4k. This is a similar build volume to the newer AC Mono 4 and the Elegoo Mars family.

The Bullshark is medium scale but the hull is one piece so to avoid splitting you will need a medium scale printer. I print the whole model in one scene on my AC M5s. This is a similar build volume to the newer AC M7 and the Elegoo Saturn family (including the Saturn 3 Ultra).

The Whaleshark and Killerwhale are split into parts and will need to be assembled but all parts (even the nose of the Whaleshark) will fit on a medium format printer (AC M5s, AC M7, Saturn family, etc.)

The only models I sell that require a bigger printer still are my submarines which I print in one piece on my AC M7 Max.

Hope this is helpful to you!

Thanks,

You’re welcome! It’s good that more and more people are getting the medium format machines now as when I first released the Whaleshark, most people had Mars/mono 4k sized machines and couldn’t fit it!

hello for the mc laren it is better to print it in SLA or FDM, Thank you

Hi! It will print well in both forms of 3D printing. It has been designed with SLA/DLP resin in mind but should print fine on FDM with tree or standard supports. The files include pre-supported files for SLA printing.

Do you plan to make a manta with your style

Hi Becoolman! It may be in the works 👀 not a release this year though. Thanks for your compliment to my style 😊

one more question will it be in tank form or fly

What would you prefer? The Tanks are my speciality at the moment and I fear it would not be very original to make a version with wings (because it would basically be a manta) and I try to keep my designs original.

Hey mate, love this tank so much, was wondering how you are going on the pre-supported files? I'm looking at picking this up very soon! Any idea how long the biggest single piece is? I'm looking at printing this on my Saturn.
Cheers

Hey, I have just uploaded supported files as a .zip! Some are for large format machines, I will endeavour to split these and support them for smaller machines in the near future.

I hate to bother you, but does your superheavy tank have any sort of interior to it, or is it just the exterior? It is awesome either way. But I was currious. Also would it fit in the cargo bay of a Ray?

Hi,

Yes it does have internals, a couple of benches and consoles and 4 rack spaces for drones!
I’ll see if I can get a picture and upload it

It is very large (about 430mm long ~2/3 the length of a Ray) so I doubt it I’m afraid but that is a good design constraint for my future designs 🤔

Do you mind telling me where you first saw this? 😊

Your tank? Was just browsing files for on cults and saw it. Immediately shared it with some friends I know may be interested. It looks very nice.

That's great to hear, I was only wondering because I have posted it on a few sites and forums and it would be useful to know where the interest is coming from. Thank you so much for your order! I would love to hear your experience with printing it and any suggestions and improvements I can make (I will upload them to the same model so you will get updates for free, even if the price goes up for others).

Also I owe you a bit an apology, I was wrong about where it saw it. I was lead to it from the a 3d warhammer printing subreddit. Once I saw it there, then it started popping up on the cults feeds. Also, any chance you could modify the main body of the tank so it can be printed on smaller printers, right now it will only fit on my CR-10 max, and I can't take the roof off to paint the interior should I print one off. I don't know how hard it would be for you, but I do not have the skills required to do it myself.

Ah good, I see cookies are working well then! Haha
Yes I am working on splitting it up for 3D printing as a priority and I’ll upload it to the listing once I’m done. If I left the front section whole from where the swept area meets the fuselage, would that fit on your printer?

Ok, so I did that split in 3d builder, and front section will fit inside the volume of a photon mono-x. I just don't know how to do the studd and hole set up to make lining stuff up again easier.

I am working on stud locators with my splits. If you want to do it yourself, ahead of my updates, you just need to create a stud and add it to a split part on one side then use the Boolean cut tool to cut that out of the other (then they’ll be in the same spot) and if possible, offset the faces of the cut side by 0.2mm so there’s some clearance and it’ll slide in nicely.
