We keep trying to print this file but for some reason, especially around the beard, it keeps malfunctioning. Any help would be appreciated!

could I ask you about print size ... if you make the original size(53cm hight) you must separate beard and print it alone .. if you want make small sizes .. you have to make Support for the beard by connecting it to the chest of the mask from the back
