Thanks a bunch!

Hey, I'm planning to print your Space Soldier minis on my new printer and want to know if these are ok to print supportless, because I've been having problems printing minis without supports.

Thank you for reaching out! All of my models uploaded at this time print without support.

Hey, I am making wargaming rulebooks. Would it be ok to use pictures of your models in the books if I attribute you?

Thanks!

Go for it, thanks for asking!

I love the models you made, And I'm experimenting with my own supportless designs. What's the process for designing supportless models like you have? especially the infantry.

Thanks!

Ah! Sorry I'm just now getting back. The biggest thing to focus on when creating is avoiding overhangs and connecting back to the main body where possible. So start with the main body and try to ensure nothing is printing on air and parts gradually "grow" from the main body. If you can picture being completely parallel to the build plate as a 0 degree angle, the ideal angle to have things grow out is about 45 degrees since failure rates increase as that angle gets smaller. I hope that makes sense haha. Sketching things out can be pretty helpful too.

ayo bro, the file is corrupted I think, I downloaded and it just doesent show on the monitor when I open the file, any of them for that matter

Hello, which models specifically are you having trouble with?

oh yeah sorry i tougth I was writing through the actual post, the smol fridge mini mecha

No worries at all! I went ahead and downloaded the file and everything seems in order. I'll note there is a file within the download that is ALSO zipped to help with uploading haha, so that will need unzipped too. The only other thing I could see causing trouble is these files are .3mf instead of your normal .stl but slicers should recognize those since that file type is intended for 3D printable pieces.
