Hi, i downloaded your design "BMW Style 422m wheels for scale model 1/18 1/24" on the picture the BMW logo should be available, but in my download the bmw logo is missing. Do i have the wrong one ?

Hi. The logo just for virtual view, for give us to idea When you print it how it looks? you must to print logo to paper and stick it after printing and painting

Hi again, thanks for the chart on scaling for 1/8th scale. I have a question on resins for your rims ...have you printed them with Reprapper Silver Metallic Resin before? Or any silver resins before...wasnt sure if it would be better to paint rims from a gray base or if would look better with the silver base. Thanks

Hi, I heard first Reprapper resin brand, there is no in my country, but ı know that: if you want more metallic effect with paint, base must be black. so I use Anycubic standart black resin

Hello I'm interested in purchasing a couple of your rim designs but need to see if I can scale up to 1/8th ...and if I can what would the diameter measurement be for a 18", 20" &21" rim. Also is the depth adjustable? Hate to ask so many questions but I'm a beginner in the 3D printing world. Thanks for any information

You can use 3d builder it is free for windows you can dl windows dl center, you can adjust diameter and width simply with it. Also use this table for diemensions

Hi again, I'm really interested in some of the brims you have. If they are scaleable to 1/8th what is the correct 1/8 diameter in mm? Also is the width and offsets adjustable? Thanks

Hi,

I bought Borbet 15 and Chevrolet Malibu wheels. I need to mount (more like merge) a custom axle hub on them, but here is where the problems arise. Any method and attempt to cut a 4mm (or 5, minimum 4) through hole in the dead center of the wheel X + Y axis so i can move my hub object there and join it for printing (so it needs to be a sealed mesh with the whole in the center where the logo cap goes) crashes 3dsmax or results in vaporized mesh as 3ds removes 99% of it as it gets confused. For whatever reason it doesn't like it.

Z axis top to bottom through hole. I can send image if not clear.

Can you cut those holes for me on your end and somehow update me with those .stl? Right now im down to manually deleting vertices and sealing it back up but that is not ideal and will result in mesh issues no doubt so not worth the time doing this way.

Absolutely frustrating a 2 second job literally fails. I can adjust scale etc myself while keeping the hole the diameter i need it... hate to ask for that but it literally will not do it with those wheels... sometimes that happens with stl imports.

correct. all the way through the Z axis right in the center like on the left wheel. ( i started manually making by editing vertices). capped faces, sealed object etc. basically same as now just with the through hole of 4mm diameter extrusion. both wheels like that.

3dsmax cannot extrude because stl format. any method fails

i cannot use any msstore apps due to my security settings - the store has been permanent removed from my installation, and that includes stand alone msstore packages since they still want to connect to the store and install things from there. and im never changing that. i used 3dsmax for a reason. not blender, not 3dbuilder, not fusion360. yes it is very simple, literally 5 seconds. sadly 3ds cannot process this operation on complex stl meshes. thats why i asked you since you can do that on your end with the source files just as easy i could myslef if stl worked for this operation

i got it converted with meshmixer and then the imported obj file edits fine in 3ds. you need to do nothing.

Hello,

I bought the STL file for the Fondmetal Dakarzero Evo Corse.

I would like to use this wheel on one of my 1/10 RC crawlers.
Therefore, I needed to adjust the diameter, height, add some rings to get the tire seated, and add a 12mm hex hub.

I imported the STL file in Sketchup, did the modifications, and exported again to an STL file.
My bambu slicer now detects some "none manifold edges" which it tries to reppair, resulting in a solid wheel :-)
Even if I just import the original file in Sketchup, and export it again without doing anything to it, it makes this same error.

Guess Sketchup can't perfectly convert the original STL...

Could you send me an SKP file that would work?
Or make the modifications (can give you the details) and send another STL that i can print directly?

They are for 1:24 scale.
The 16" I am referring to the real model, which are two wheel sizes, 15" and 16" with their corresponding ET.
In the link that I have given you are the specifications of each wheel and the tire measurements of each.
