Hi Paul, the scaling on the marines helmet is all to whack, pissed away so much PLA on the print. I can fit my real M1 helmet inside this one it is so large.

Hi Paul, for the sniffer, I thought the files would come with the knobs, the clear plastic part on the top, the silver part with the gold rod as well as the trigger under the handle. Are these included? I was expecting an stl of everything except the tubing, carrying strap, and bulb. Thank you.

Hello,
I recently purchased the Colonial Marines Helmet STL that you are offing (over various sites) and I am confused in regards to several issues.
Issue 1: There are two different scales of the items. Some tiny (for a figurine), some HUGE (4 meters +)
Issue 2: You have provided sections of the helmet to print, except the helmet itself. Can you please include the helmet file itself?
Issue 3: Because the files are all different sizes, when I even vaguely attempt to size them together much of the detail is lost.
@PaulElderDesign is it possible for you to rectify these issues? or Shall I start processing for a refund as the item was not useable as expected from the product description.
Quote product description. " On offer here is the STL files to print your very own Colonial Marine helmet. As a fan of Aliens, I got this as close as possible to the original prop. The lobster plates will have to be connected by webbing and you will need to add the strap.

Hi @PaulElderDesign. Looks like the new files solved it. There is Still one oversized piece in the downloads, but there is also it's amended counterpart (Mic). Both the Mic_Cap and Camera required repairing, but so far it's looking great and the print is underway. Thanks!

Which are the recommended settings for a „real“ Size helmet ?

Hi there. The actual size of the helmet base once printed is W: 24cm x L: 29cm x H: 18cm. Everything else should be scaled to fit that. There was an issue with some parts when I exported the files. I’m updating those files now and will let you know when they are amended :)

All files have been amended and the scaling issue is now resolved. You can now grab the updated files from the download section on my listing :)

The 3D file has defects and can not be printed without losing one of the little cylinders and the big cover for the underside of the watch. I tried to repair the file, but to no avail. Is there a chance you could provide a funtioning file?
