Hello. My son bought this item. Is it an actual gun he can hold or put on his deck? Or a poster. I just want to make sure, so his hope isn't to high. He really wants a toy raygun

Hello, I'm currently working on the Mei gun and was wondering if there are missing stl's. There are parts 7 and 9 missing on the blueprint and in the "cut in half" model there seems to be inserts for the battery terminals. Is there meant to be something I slide the terminals into before putting it together or do I just glue them into place?

Hello.
In first turn: thank you for supporting us!

I apologize.I missed this moment from sight. Thank you for the note.

Batteries slot parts uploaded. Instructions files were updated. Please download the archive again.
Parts #52 and #53 were added.

Best regards!

Do you ever do any custom orders?
Apex Hemlock - Cuteness Overload skin

Hello!
Thank you for your interest in our store!
We will not be able to make this skin in the same style with division by color, there are too many small details that are too intricate in shape.

How much did it cost to print the R-99 CUTTING EDGE model?

Hello!

Thank you for your interest!

You will need 2-3 kg of filament - depends from infill density you prefer. You can rely on a minimum of 2 kilograms of filament when calculating the cost, and then it depends on the brand and type of filament that you prefer. On the image with exploded view you can find list of the components you will needs for assembling. You can calculate the cost of these components at the prices in your country or region. When we were assemble it in Ukraine 2 years ago it was cost us around 50 USD on materials.

Thank you for replying^^

You are welcome!

Hello, I like your "R-99 CUTTING EDGE" model very much and bought it. However, I am not sure about the specific specification of the part "8mm rod (480mm length) with 2 pcs M8 nuts". What is the specific thread of this stud? I hope to get your help.

I hope to get the thread size of both ends of the stud. Thank you very much

Hello!
Thank you for your purchase and your support!
Stud diameter 8mm. The pitch of the thread is not important - it is important that the nuts and studs have the same pitch)

OK, because I just bought it and haven't finished printing. I think I understand what you mean. Thank you for your answer.

By the way, are you going to make Apex weapon models in the future?

In the near future, while adding models from Overwatch, are you interested in a specific model from Apex?

Yes, I'm very interested in apex. My favorite games are "apex" and "Overwatch". The most interesting weapons in apex are "R-301" and "Charge Rifle". Charge Rifle is really cool. If you do not plan to continue to launch the Apex model, I will continue to support you. Your design is really great.

Excellent models, if we succeed, we will make them, but now I can’t say for sure.
Thank you for your support, we are very pleased!

Howdy, I just bought the M6G Magnum and am incredibly impressed by the quality, detail and great organization of files and instructions.

However, I've noticed that the word "manUfacture" on the side was misspelled as manAfacture on the 3D model part 1_Body_Silver. I even went to the wiki and double checked to see if maybe it was spelled that way in the original reference image but it does seem to be a genuine typo on the model. Any chance of that small mistake being fixed or updated?

Hello!
Thank you for your purchase and we are glad that you liked the model!
Sorry for this incident, this detail has been updated and added to the archive of the lot, unfortunately it is not possible to attach it separately to the letter, please check the new archive.
Best regards!
Alex and MakerLab Team

Perfect, thank you. I'm genuinely impressed at your turn around time and response! Follow up question, this is just an idea, not an issue, for this prop, have you considered offering a version where 3_Body_Silver and 45_Body_Yellow are combined into one object for those who want to paint the band on instead of print the band? I've already printed out and started sanding the body so don't feel like you have to change that immediately. I think I'm going to glue them together and fill the gap so that it appears like a single piece. I'm also very excited to post a Make for this project, would love to show people how nice it looks!

The model was divided so that it can be printed immediately in color without painting, but if it is possible to paint, this option is better, the combined parts 3 and 45 are added to the archive, Alt folder.
Thank you, we'd love to see your project!

Hi there,

So i started the project and already altered the Battery compartment to house a Li-ion Battery and a USB-C charger. How will i be able to send the pictures? I may upload them to MEGA if that suits you.

Great news, yes of course MEGA fits, we look forward to seeing your work.

Alright! I made a Folder. I will update as i go along, so expect updates daily :P https://mega.nz/folder/b01iCRiD#n3Xe3eSKXUooByJ2bXq8VA

I replied to you yesterday but it still needs aproval? Maybe because of the link in there... Well anyways, i did put more pictures in the folder.

Thank you, looking forward to see the photo.
Yes, on some sites it does not allow addresses to third-party resources, automatically blocking such messages, sometimes it works if you skip the standard start without three w... or htt...

Got your message, looks great, battery modification with indicator and especially ice effect dome.
Thank you for the photo!

Hey Makerlab, I am Proud to anounce that i finnished the project! Unfortunately some Material got delayed which delayed the whole project but its finished now! Take a look into the MEGA Folder to see the finished Model :D

Also i was wondering if i can get the whole model as one file so i can make a stand with a singe boolean operation for a perfect fit :P Preferably in .step or .obj or .3mf

Hello!
Thank you for the photo of your project, the completed version looks great! Excellent effect on the dome and icicle, are they filled with something like gel or silicone?
Yes, it will be even better with the stand, the file in STEP and 3MF formats has been added to the lot, archive Complete.

Thank you very much! :D I will tell you my secret for the dome. I used 3D printer Monomere Resin (the same i used for printing the dome) and dyed it a deep blue with epoxy colours and added some glitter. Then i used a heating plate on the low setting and a high power UV Flashlight. While holding the dome at an angle i pour in some of the pre mixed Resin. Then i put it on the hotplate and at the same time flash UV light on it. A bubble forms but gets trapped emediately. Reapeat 6-10 times and u get a Fractal Gaseous effect. I will go and design a cool stand now :)

For the Icicle i used the same resin. First i printed it hollow with the clear resin. Then i poured some of the same mixture in the icicle and cured it slowly. After curing i put more resin in to it and waited for the glitter to sink to the bottom. Then i inserted the LED and rapidly cured it with the HIGH POWER UV Light to form some small bubbles to make it look like Rapidly formed Ice Crystals. It also helps to defract the light inside the icicle. I will try to make some good looking photos with a white backround. I will upload them to the folder. Feel free to use them :)

Thank you for your method and for allowing us to use your photos, the result is excellent and looks very realistic!

I made a Folder with pictures that schould suit your needs. I also uploaded a make in which i described my adventure :) thank you very much for this great design! I will upload the stand in a view days once im sure it fits perfectly. You may include it if you like the design :) I've seen you have been bussy this month. Maybe there will be a second project soon. No promises :P

It's great, we're glad you like it. Thank you for the additional photos and your story, it's interesting to see how it will look with the stand.
I think the next model will be the Symmetra blaster, but it still needs to be completed.

I just purchased the APEX-R-99 model and it really looks great.
But I have some questions.
1. On the Cults website you state that you need - 8mm rod (590mm length) with 2 pcs M8 nuts.

But in the download file (Components.rtf) it says -7. Rod. 1 pcs 8mm rod (480mm length) with 2 pcs M8 nuts.

I'm not sure which is the correct size and what the part looks like. Can you send me some pictures and links of this part for reference?

Here is my email: lingyin.nnnnn@gmail.com

I look forward to receiving your reply.

By the way, if you could give me a chart of how many of each part need to be printed?

And how each part is fixed to each other, using glue or will they fit together.

Hello!

I made mistake in the discriprion - you will need 480mm M8 rod, thank you!
Parts that have screws holes needs to be connected with screws, others - with glue. You can check instructions for more information.
Parts that needs to be printed more than in 1 copy have multiplier at the end of the file name.

Best regards!
Ivan and MakerLab Team

Hello -
I bought your Boomerang Phaser, but I am unable to open the Components.rtf (system says its corrupted and I can't seem to repair it).

Could you send me a copy via email?

Hello! Yes, of course. Can you write your email?

hello, i want to ask something about the cutting edge r99. how long does it takes time to print and how much the ammount of filament do i needed?

Hello! Depends from printing settings and amount of printers. If you will use one printer - expect at least 1 week. 2.5-4 kg of filament may needs - depends from settings.

Hey, just wanted to to ask really quick, the STL files for the gears of war lancer (mk2) is sized for a 1:1 scale replica right? I just got the STL files and I wanna make sure they are sized correctly, or so I have to size them myself?

Hello! STL files sized to assemble model in 890x312x95mm sizes. We printed them 1:1

Hey there, I am loving the models you guys have in your shop. I was wondering if you guys would ever make a STL file for the lancer GL from gears 5, that would be a great model to print.

Hello! Thank you for your interest! We do not have plans to create Lancer GL for now. ..maybe later - I am not sure.

I bought the stl files for the Star Trek Discovery Phaser Rifle and using Cura, some of the parts are auto loading at 10000% percent. I am assuming this is incorrect but most of them look right...but the 9_Handle_Silver x2 V2 file is obviously WAY to big. So should I be scaling every file down to 100%?

Do you have a list of the sizes each part is supposed to be so I can scale them accordingly with some degree of confidence?

Hello!

Thank you for your purchase and interest in our store!

Sorry I couldn't answer for a long time.
Simplify3D was used to prepare the files, no problems with scale were noticed. For comparison, I attached link to screenshots of all the details, at the bottom of the picture the name of the part and its size in millimeters are indicated.
https://ibb.co/album/tB3q6q
Best regards!
Alex.

Also, sometimes when loading small parts in the Simlify3d slicer, the program may warn that the part is small and offers to scale it, displaying a message at the beginning of the download, if you refuse, the part remains the original size. Perhaps there is a similar warning in Cura, or it increases the detail automatically, it all depends on the settings.

Hi Purchased the Hemlock a while back finally got my chiron printing good enough to make an attempt, do the parts print as they are or is it better to orientate them on the bed to maximise supports and quality

thanks,

ps great work

Hello!

Thank you for your interest to our models! Better place parts on the bed to minimize supports and maximize quality. It may take some experience to understand which parts are best placed.
Feel free to come back again and enjoy the creative process!

I just bought TYPE 1 CRICKET PHASER - STAR TREK - PRINTABLE 3D MODEL - STL FILE
The zip file does not contain the stl for the red glass front portion of the phaser on the zipped stl - the file is labelled "2_body_red glass.stl". Instead in the zip file there is a duplicate of "2_stand_silver v2.stl"
Could this be updated so aI can download again or "2_body_red glass.stl" emailed across to me?

Hello,
is it possible to print the gravity lifts from Horizon at 50% (half the size) and still be able to put all the electronics in?

Hello! Without changing the model - very doubtful, in my opinion.+ in this case, you will needed another - less size - components.

the model looks great , i was wondering if you would consider selling the files for the stand alone , i have a nerf gun i have customised that would look great on it. thanks

I was wondering if you are able to make a weapon from warframe boltor prime?

Hello!

Thank you for your interest in our store! We are currently not producing new models.

I am blown away by the quality of these models. I'm planning on printing most of the Halo weapons and high quality, printable models are hard to find. I'm definitely starting with your Needler now. Any way you could eventually add some more Covenant weapons? I would greatly appreciate it.

Hello! Thank you for your interest! For the time being, we have no plans to make new Covenant weapon models. Maybe in the future.

Hi would you sell a star trek rifle package deal of the discovery and picard rifles together? They are a bit expensive so would be good if the pair would be for 50 euros or similar

Hello! We changed prices a little bit. Please check

Hi. Your designs look epic. Would you be able to make R99-CuttingEdge more accessible (i.e. cheaper)? The design is awesome just little bit expensive.
