Hello, I am printing the sentinel model but the clamps are not moving. Could you please share the printing settings for this?
Hi as of the morning of sunday the 18th of august. My account has been hacked and multiple back to back fraudulent purchases were made from my account. I have changed my passwords and a new card is being sent to me. Payment is currently pending (my bank says I can not place a fraud claim until the process is complete), if possible please cancel the purchase orders and if the payment has gone through, would it be possible to redeem the payment. If there is any advice you can offer to resolve the situation or anything you need from me, it would be much appreciated if you shared.
Could you tell me if I should just to print all the files inside the zip file and then assemble them?
There are some small parts (like "tentacle," "tentacle_singleJoint," "foot," etc.) that I apparently should print several of, but I couldn't find any instructions inside the zip file!

can you make a sound catching thing for tentacle like in the movie
I tried printing the leg and the middle joint is solid and you can't just pop the piece out so the joint can move. Is there a way to fix or refund?
I'm sorry you have such troubles.You'll be refunded. I assume you followed my recommended print settings but still, this is difficult build which requires well calibrated printer. If those requirements are fullfilled you shouldn't have problems printing it.
Hellooo, I bought the matrix sentinel model but I wanted to ask if there was an way to print the main body better? Maybe split it in half or in parts? It’s bc my support system doesn’t work well and leaves ugly overhangs and stuff… I would appreciate it, thanks.
Well, that is up to you. Orca slicer or Prusa slicer can separate mesh into two parts for you. I wouldn't do that just because it will leave a seam which I don't want.
I saw that the model has some lines and stuff, so to not make seams I thought abt separating the parts of the model that have these lines and then joining them together… idk how well that would work on resistance tho.
I thought about that so much when I was designing and modeling it.My goal was to have a build as easy as possible considering how detailed sentinel is. Separating model by following panel lines would make the build and also modeling so much harder.Having the body as single piece is one of those better decisions. I've also tried a lot of orientions of the body before releasing this model and i think/believe this one is the best you can get. I apologize but for me it would be time i'm not willing to invest. Oh dear... i'am sorry for that. Which model of the hand did you print ? Presupported or the one without supports ?
There could be couple of issues. One - did you properly washed the parts before curing ? Second - did you calibrate exposure times for your resin ?
Do those joints break due to fused resin inside them ? Can you send me a closeup photo of that broken joint, please ?
I'm using the resin version and iv done both in various configurations supported in 2 different resins on 3 different exposure times and stock, and unsupported where my system did the supports and same setting combos and me doing the supports as well; resulting on all of them being fused on the inside in some degree or other. Also, reduced the print layers to .010 to make sure the curves got the clearance and still has some parts that stick together, but iv seen an improvement. As in, more of the hinges come out as cleaner prints but still end up fused.. Always on the bottoms of the hinges.. (always clean the crap out of them and none have made it to the cure part, always break on cleaning...).
I love this kit and a heat gun made my life a lot easier when assembling the tentacles. Also, could you please make a dish version of the hand for this kit?

Kamil, that is so strange. Resin version has quite big tolerances. When you break my supports on presupported models than hands are actually pretty loose. There must be something else.
I've printed sentinel with two different resin brands. Difference between exposure time after calibration was 1.1 seconds. First resin was calibrated to 2.7 second exp.time and the other one needed 1.6 seconds. Resulting prints of the sentinel were exactly the same in terms of clearances in hinge joints.
Yes, I agree this is puzzling to me as well. I did a print over night again with 3 different support types, your supported then light supports and then medium. Sliced at .0100 with a 3 sec exposure on Abs like pro V2 from Anycubic, and each has a different problem but ultimately all are fused at the bases of the joints. I went over your file as well and you do have plenty of tolerances,and it should all work but something is screwy and I'm super frustrated. I'm even going to replace my fep film and try printing it either in high speed or standard to see if something softer with more give will do better.. Would you be able to share your settings for the resins you are using ill try get them and run a test to see if its me or my settings.

For the sentinel resin print did you color the print before or after curing the parts and/or what would you recomend. Thx
After curing. I coloured everything with carbon powder and Eyes are printed on FDM already in red, because i don't have red resin ;)
i cant get the hands to open up, it is split half way but not into four fingers.
Did you see my videos? I'm cutting those fingers with exacto knife into four separate fingers. That is the price for not having to much supports....
Cutting should go pretty easy. If not, try to decrease flow rate 3% down when printing, please.
