A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, a story was told that would change a little boys life forever. That story was Star Wars, and it has captivated me for as long as I could remember. When I was a child I would run around my neighborhood with my friends with plastic lightsaber toys and dream about what it would be like to live in that galaxy far far away. As I grew and experienced more sci-fi universes from other franchises, my urge to bring these places to life grew with me. It became my mission to collect and create objects from Star Wars so I could fully immerse myself in this magical universe.

I began 3D printing as a means of furthering this mission. The first thing I printed on my first printer was a Mandalorian helmet that I painted like Boba Fett's. I moved on to work on his armor, and then his blasters. A large part of this process was sourcing inexpensive, or free models for printing. However, this was an arduous process. The intersection of affordable models and screen accurate models was hard to find. So I began to teach myself 3D modeling. I challenged myself to model every lightsaber in the lightsaber collection book so that I could learn modeling concepts and tools.

The models in my shop are the result of that challenge. As I began printing lightsabers that would be a fine addition to my collection, people were asking me for the model file. I decided to open up this shop and share not only my lightsaber files, but any files that I model from the universe's I fell in love with growing up, whether it be Star Wars, Halo, Mass Effect, or other games and movies.

I'm always learning and adding new files to the shop that are easy to print, high quality, and source accurate. I look forward to empowering creators to immerse themselves in their favorite universe like I have. May the force be with you, and happy printing!
