I just downloaded the Tightening Orbit Helmet (https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/fashion/tightening-orbit-helmet/similar-designs) for use as a costume piece in a high school production of Hamlet. It has a "size checker", but there don't appear to be any instructions on what to do with it. I would guess that printing that and having my actor try it on would give me some information on how much I might need to scale the helmet pieces larger or smaller or which version to print from the three different folders, but I don't see any way to know how to use the sizer. Is there any documentation that goes with this model to guide me in sizing it? Thanks in advance.

Hey!
the 3 versions are the same size in terms or ready helmet, so it is just the matter of your printer build volume - choose according to max size of the part which can fit it, you can drag parts from three versions into the slicer to check if ok (after proper Size_checker test). you should use only one version (from one folder) at a time:

for small forges under 150mm (Cut_small): 16pcs, biggest length 140mm;
for medium forges 150 - 250mm (Cut_medium): 7pcs, biggest length 248mm;
for big forges more than 250mm (Uncut): 6pcs, biggest length 258mm.

The more parts (smaller printer) the more postprocessing willl be required. the less helmet parts - less seams, less postprocessing.

The helmet itself was modelled for head size (straight line-90deg angle): ear-ear distance - 17cm/6.9in, chin-top head - 21cm/8.3in, bridge of the nose-the back of the head - 19cm/7.5in.

About Size_checker, you can see its dimensions in slicer and compare to your/actor head - if close enough test print checker and try to put on. In case too big / small increase in all axis by some % or absolute number (like +5mm on all axis) and try again. After you have Size checker fit actor head good, use the same scaling numbers for helmet parts.

Let me know if i can help more.

Hi! Sorry for inconvinience, nobody mentioned that before. My mistake. You can reupload the files from Cults and let me know how it goes.

yep, it is there now, thanks for the quick response!

Hey there mate,

I've been using some of your power axe stls for a long while on my cosplays now (and I'm working on building a new version with some LEDs in it!).
Now that I'm close to done, I'm considering doing my own lil' etsy shop where I'm basically just selling the downtime of my printer. And doing those axes would be my starting item, but I wont and cant do that without talking to you about licensing first, since if that falls flat, the entire idea is basically dead ;)
So... is there an option to come to an agreement for that? :)

Hey, appreciate your message. It is not quality/customer question for cults. If you dont mind, do you have Discord or other way of communication?

Sure thing :)
You can find me on Discord under the same name, Thairne ;)

Also you could scale the figure as you want

Just bought 'em, love 'em, hell yeah! I'd be remiss if I didn't say the file's title didn't make me snicker like a 6th grader though...

Glad you like it!
I will add some new tentacles with plugs in future.
You can also add photos, when plugs will be in place :)
