Hi I'm having problems with printing the balls on the shoes for the not so xl elf and its keeps stringing about 75% of the way through. These are my last things to print and everything else has worked perfectly is there a reason this isn't working.

Stringing? Getting knocked off? Please make sure you have good adhesion, clean plate, try brim or supports to hold in place or add some glue. Definitely recommend a super tack or similar cool plate.

Yes must be printed as per instructions with the specific size. So in short you cannot scale down it won’t print

Well I’ve made them large. You can try scaling down. I personally have not tested. So I’d suggest test printing a couple of smaller pieces and the connectors. Then you’ll know if there is an issue.

Hi, I’ve purchased your XL Nutcracker file and have started to print, very pleased with it. I have a question, I own an Elegoo Neptune 4 Max with a 480x480cm build plate. I have tested the size and I can fit the main body at 200%on the plate. (I can’t fit the stand but could make one from wood or Slice it into quadrants)
Do you think if you put accommodation for a 6” pipe through the centre to cut down on materials, like a child’s Stacking Block toy, that it would work? Or would it be too unstable?
(I’m a totally mad 62 year old grandmother and my grandchildren want to know can they have one as tall as Papa)

I would scale every thing to the hair and head as they are the largest pieces. If you scale to the body you wind fit the head and hair. In terms of the other bit I’ve no idea in all honesty.

it was a model i created a long time ago and only uploaded the Bambu 3mf project file, i Have now added the STL. but please be aware that STL's don't carry colour info so you will need to colour.

Hey! I just downloaded the xl nutcracker and opened up the 3mf, none of the plates are labeled, how can I tell which connectors are the .2 and the .15?

All the parts are labelled. The suggested connectors are on the build plate with the parts.
There is a a separate build plate with all the 0.2 connectors

What model please? But you can with all the xl models mirror the right. Clone, select object then right click and select mirror along x axis.
Once I know what model I’ll fix.

Honestly thing the left hand cuff might be boot cuff. If so, then I am missing the left hand cuff.

Hi apologies I have a second job. But as in previous message for now just clone the cuff you have and mirror along x axis. Right click and use the drop down menu on the object. I will update the file asap

ok so ive double checked the all the files including the 3mf and the all parts zip and all the cuffs are there. please check the files again. there are 4 cuffs, present

There is a right boot cuff, a right boot cuff 2, a left arm cuff, and a right arm cuff. Can you specifically tell me that you see a left boot cuff? I promise I'm not trying to be difficult; I just have most of this printed, and I'm ready to move on. Also, the right arm cuff is noticeably larger than the left hand cuff, which is why I thought it might be the left boot cuff by mistake. Trying to help more than anything for future sales of the Santa.

corrected the name. apologies i just checked that there were 4 cuffs without checking the name correctly. you can download again or as stated at the start the boot cuffs are identical but mirrored. so just mirror the the right boot cuff. the right hand cuff identified by the indent.

Right hand is missing. I found the left hand and the left hand for sign, but no right hand. It is different so I cannot mirror it.

Hi. You can scale down in slicer. They will work. Just make sure you scale all parts equally. And for the nutcracker you may need to scale down the connectors ever so slight more than the main parts.

hi, yeah should be the not so XL. you could technically scale down to 65% but the connecting pieces are likely going to be tight. i can refund you if you like so you can get the correct version
