Hey I just got your SURPRICE HEART BOX. Is there any way you can remove the flaps from the assembly so I can print the parts individually?

Hey I just got your SURPRICE HEART BOX. Is there any way you can remove the flaps from the assembly so I can print the parts individually?
Hello! Unfortunately the flaps are made to be printed together with the the box, so if you print them separately, you can’t assemble them to the box (if won’t be easy at least). If you still want to try to print them separately, I can provide the files.
I see. I am using an SLA printer so I guess I will just shrink the whole thing down to fit. Thanks anyway!
I’m really curious how it went. How did it work?
All the little hingy pieces broke off. I was barely able to get the bottom two pieces to twist. If you split everything up Ill try again.
I have split the flaps into separate parts now. Please send an email to filip@dynasus.com and I will email you the files.
However, I don't think it will be easy to assemble when printed this way. I can give you a refund, if you want, since it didn't go as you planed.
Hey I sent you an email.
Hello,
For the soft tire model can you supply the .step file? https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/gadget/soft-tire
I have updated the design with the .step-file!
I have a question about your Galileo escapement clock. How did u design it and like fine the perfect measurements and everything? I also want to make a Galileo escapement clock using real materials like wood and metal. Do you know how to go about doing that?
Now it was a couple of years ago, but I think I started by looking at different escapement mechanisms and then really tried to understand how they worked.
After that I started sketching in my CAD software and made “a first guess”. After that I tried to move the mechanism in CAD to see what needed to be changed for next iteration. So it was kind of a trial and error process in CAD. Not much calculations.
I guess you could you more math in the process, but that’s how I did.
Hi, I would like to know if you have a commercial license I can buy for the heart box?
Hi,
Apologies for the delayed response. Finding a suitable approach for commercial licenses took some time, but I believe I've found a solution now! I've recently set up a Patreon account. If you're interested in selling the model, you can subscribe to it.
