You know if any of these will fit rc4wd extended cab bed? thank u
You have to be more specific what you are asking?? If your asking about the tool boxes I have size demensions in the description.
Yes any of the toolboxes work with rc4wd toyota extended cab. The diamond plated battery holder for the bed
Hello. Can you edit a tool box for the rc4wd blazer 10mm deep version, but with cut outs to fit the fender wells in the suv body? The wheel wells hit the tool box not allowing it to drop in place. I didn't want to print the shallow one because I will have wires going through and not wanting them to show. Thank you in advance for your time.
Sorry I don't have RC4WD K5 body so I wouldn't know how much to trim on that.
If I get some measurements, would you be able to do that? Also could you do a tool box that sits inside the bed of the k5 and mojave 2 body? I'd be willing to pay for those files.
Ya, if you give me measurements I can certainly look at it. I'm not sure what you mean by a tool box that sits inside the bed?
It would be a tool box that doesn't sit on the bed rails. In the bed tool box. So the blazer top would still go on. Since these tool boxes sit over the bed rails, the blazer top or even a canopy wouldn't fit.
Also, would you consider letting me sell these tool boxes and I'd give you a cut from the sales? You designed a great tool box.
I wouldn't sell the file. Just the actual 3d print to my local guys.
Just so you know, a guy named Jason Randol is selling this tool box on Facebook and claiming that he had the files made but can clearly tell it is exactly your file. Actually, he even went on to say you reached out to him about selling your item then he “made his own” which you can tell is not true.
Yes I remember that guy. He's a scum bag! He100% took my files and just scaled the size of it and called it his own. When i called him out on it he instantly blocked me on Facebook. I'm not the only one he stole files from too. I did contact Etsy and reported the one listing on there and they took it down but I'm sure he's selling else where.
I'm not the against the idea about people making money 3D printing my stuff for people at least have the common curtesy to ask me first and maybe we can make a deal of royalties or promoting my stuff or something...
Thanks for letting me know. Do you know where he's selling these at?
I called him out and he was fighting back about it and has now deleted the post. I have screenshots of it all though. Was on the Facebook group “RC4WD XTRA CAB FAMILY”.
Turns out I’m blocked on Facebook now too.
Thanks I'll probably check it out with my Wife's Facebook later on. Im sure he didn't delete the add. He probably just blocked you. I wonder if a person can post anonymoulsly on that group?
noticed when i printed the spear tire pcs the mesh didnt print juat the frame for it printed ? what caused this to happen !
maybe try turning on print Thin Walls in your slicer
got it thank u sorry about that
Hello I'm looking for a 1/24 scale side dumpto print was wondering if you a file .
Thanks
Sorry I dont have anything like that.
Hello sorry bro i mistakenly bought this project it was in my cart and mistakenly bought it can u do an refund please I dind;t download or anything
I refunded ya.. All is good.
Hello do u have the fusion 3d file I'm looking to get cut by cnc if it is possible
Instructions now say I can only go to #10. Can't see the rest of the instructions?!
what infil do you recomend for prenting the trailers when using pla and pla+
I have always done about 4-5 walls and about 25-30% infill
I had messaged your instagram but I was wondering if you could resize the 1.9 rc dually wheels to fit a 1.55 tire instead?
I may do that one day but unfortunately I just have too many other projects on the go at the moment.
hello i am interested in buying a couple of your file but i want to make sure what i am looking at will work. i would assume as they look the same but will the gooseneck conversion work with the 8.5scale bumper pull tilt deck trailer and the 10 scale bumper pull dump trailer? i know yousell them as bumper pull or goosneck but just trying to buy as few files as needed to be able to make trailer for different trucks that i have.
Yes the gooseneck neck conversion will work with the bumper pull tilt deck trailer and dump trailer. Just have to print the from frame section which is included.
I am in the process of printing your bumper pull tilt deck trailer. I noticed that you have it set up for a pintle hitch, but the file you added for the hitch and receiver is for a ball hitch, which is the style hitch I have on my CEN Sicario that I'll be towing the trailer with. Do you have a different file for a trailer tongue that is set up for a ball hitch? Or a pintle hitch you could recommend for the CEN? Thanks!
I also noticed in the instructions that the chart shows the linear actuator needed has 50mm of travel, but when I click the link it brings me to one with only 20mm of travel. which one do I need?
Maybe try this for the pintle hitch https://a.co/d/ijbYz0K
For the Actuator you need the 50 mm stroke
I needed a drop hitch since my RC is lifted. I designed a pintle hitch to work on your adjustable hitch shank that's included with the bumper pull trailer. I can send you the file if you'd like, that way you can include it with your setup. I think it will meet your standards.
I’m trying to find you on insta or something to talk on dm can you please reach out too me im RC EAST thank you in advance
I do have Instagram but don't really use it much. Haven't used it in long time! lol But I searched you up and now following you. ( dwayne.vleeming ) Glad too see someone posting pictures and videos of the trailer! Very Nice Work! Thanks for Sharing! Feel free to share some pictures on this site too if you like.
I sent u messages
For the Skid Steer would you possibly have a 2D colored design for that file? I am working with someone to get stickers made and converting the 3d files is tricky because its all one color
I just found pictures online and used Inkscape to converted them into a vector file. Not the greatest quality for a vinyl cutter though. I did allot of work fixing them up in the modeling program after extruding it into a 3D model.
Hi I have a question about the tilt deck fifth wheel trailer I can’t find any actuators that are 100mm and the link is for ca Amazon the actuators I can find are like 105 ish is that gonna be okay or will it not close all the way ? Also I didn’t see the hitch for the k20 in the files I just purchased it anyway maybe you’ll see something I didn’t thank !
Yes 105mm will work. I just measured mine and they are at that 105mm at retracked length. Not sure why they have 100mm on their add. Must have been a miss print. Thanks for brining this up. I will try to correct this on my instructions. I also updated my files to include the 5th wheel hitch. I must forgot to add that on my original upload.
Awesome man thanks so much for the speedy reply, and actually measuring them too that was really helpfull! Going to order my parts tommorow. Awesome model as well super stocked to tow it
Hello, I purchased the trailer file and I am currently trying to figure out how to raise and lower the tilt bed, do you have to run a second radio? your instructions on google do not explain this and I am not about to hook a second esc up to my receiver.
if you don't want to connect a 2nd ESC to your receiver then you could go with a cheap wireless winch controller and connect straight to a small 3s lipo battery that fits in the compartment in the front of the trailer.
In my setup up I just connected a micro ESC for the actuators connected to a small lipo battery in the trailer and just ran a long single wire back to the receiver in the truck so I can run it off an aux channel of my radio. No need for a second radio as long as your radio has enough channels on it. I just made the signal wire easy to disconnect right at the trailer hitch when I want to disconnect the trailer.
I tried that using the single wire on the esc but it wouldn't work, everything i read said not to put another powered esc wire into my receiver so i didnt use the three wire plug, maybe ill just try it out
What shocks are you using I don't see a file for a printed version
There is a link for the shocks in the assembly instructions
no 3d printed option for that unfortunately..
Hi, could you send splitted stl files for "Bumper Pull Tilt Deck Trailer" toolbox
You can use your slicer to split into separate objects
Im using cura but I dont see any options about splitting
I’m wanting to buy the trailer toolbox file. But would you be willing to share the dimensions of just the base? I want to make sure it will work with the spartan boat trailer
116mm wide by about 50mm depth
Hi, I was just wondering.. what thread size did you design the jack screw ?? The tolerance printed a bit tight and I wanted to retain the threads before I printed again.. what specific print setting did you print at?
Sorry I don't specifically remember the thread size. I will have too look at that later. I did design this with about 0.2mm clearance so you might want to check your settings. I recommend printing at a 0.1mm layer height or lower and make sure your slicer doesn't add support material to the threads.
Ok ill check again, but I printed mine at 0.2mm no support on the screw. I'll try again at 0.1mm..
Hi,
I just downloaded 1729109, but I do not see the latches.
Thanks,
Gerald
Sorry I must have forgot to add that. I just updated the files now so you can redownload it.
Hey! I see you updated the trailer files with the tarp cover! But when I downloaded the files, they did not appear. Where are the files for the tarp cover supposed to be? Thank you!
Sorry I not sure what happened there but its fixed now.
