Hi! I wanted to reach out because your work is really cool , I printed your Exacta to Fuji X adapter, and it's amazing.
lots friends have seen it and are asking where they can get one for their lenses, which made me think. It seems like there's a real market for these in Mexico City.

I'm interested in licensing your adapter models to produce and sell them. I would, of course, be happy to discuss a royalty agreement or a licensing fee that works for you.

Let me know if you're open to the idea!

Hi! I bought your stl, "Canon EF to Canon RF adapter with locking mechanism", and the description says: 3D model description, Adapter to use Canon EF - EFS with Canon RF cameras. So EF lens to RF camera body, right?

Question: Why does the name of the stl file I downloaded is "RF to EF body", which means, rf lens to ef camera body? It is confusing, please enlighten me, Thank you!

Ah yeah, it's because that's the "Main body" of the adapter, you also have "Pin", and "lid" if I'm not mistaken.

And it's impossible to use RF lenses with EF body cameras, don't worry, just print it, it'll work.

oh, also btw i saw you have a latest version of this but there's no download yet, which do you prefer to print?

I honestly liked the latest version, but some people prefer the one with the Lid to hide the spring, either of both will work, it's mostly the looks that changed.

Nice! Thank you for your replies, have a nice day!

Sure!, if you need an adapter I didn't make yet, let me know, or if you need help just contact me.

Hello, I am looking for a Miranda lens adapter that has the internal M44 (not M42) screw threads. You (and a bunch of other people) have Miranda bayonet adapters, but none of them have the inner screw threads. If you look at a Miranda SLR, the mount has both the bayonet and the screw. I have a couple of the M44 Miranda lenses and would like to try them digitally. Preferrably to Nikon Z mount, but I could also do Sony E-Mount.

Hi, sure I can do that, I don't longer have a Miranda lens, if you can send some pictures I can use it to make the adapter.
Write me on telegram:

I click the link and it makes me copy and paste it into another browser window, I do that and I get a button that says Send Message, but nothing happens. I have never used Telegram before. Are you in the US? I could just send you a Miranda screw mount lens. I have a bunch of them.

Hello! I see you have many adapters for different brands. Could you make one that fits Samsung NX mounts to Canon RF lenses? I would buy it without hesitation!

Hi, that's impossible, search Flange distance and you'll understand it, if you put a RF lens in a NX mount you'll have a macro lens

Ooh, you're right. I hadn't even stopped to look at this. NX is 5.5 cm larger than RF... we can't "insert" that into the body. Thanks anyway :)

hi, I bought the files for the nex 5 grip, but I want to make some changes for personal use of course, so could you provide the step files please?

It was created using Fusion 360, and for the current price I cannot share the editable file sorry

ok I'll do it myself then

What changes you want to do? If you can share it with me, I think I can send you the editables

I dont really trust the two "teeth" on the front that keeps the grip from rotating, so I thought maybe an extrusion beetween them with a cutout to accomodate for the lens mount would be a better solution, the cutout would keep the grip from rotating and it would also be stronger

Oh I see, for me it works good and I tried to break them and the necessary force it's a lot, but I'll send you the files.
I can send them to you via email or telegram

Hi there .... I received notification that you have updated the Canon FD to Fuji X-mount adaptor to v2 and that because I had already purchased the v1 that I could download the new one for free. Is this correct as I can't seem to access it?
Please advise.
Kinds regards, Trevor.

Hi, yes you can access for free, the original file is no longer there, just re download the one that is the post, that's the new file, if you can't, write me on telegram, I'll send you the new file.
https://t.me/CL4PTRAP

Thanks for the very quick and cordial reply. I can download but it says v1 at the end of the file .... is this correct or should it read v2?

Yes, don't worry about the naming, it's V1 again because my computer was stolen in a moving, and I created the adapter again and Fusion 360 put the V1 at the end.
Download it and compare both files, you'll see the differences

Thanks for the grip for the M6 ii! simple & easy + I don't have to cry looking for parts for a discontinued ecosystem

I'm glad you liked it, I also have another one with access to the battery and a tripod screw, and all the adapters you want

Hi! I was wondering if you could possibly help me out. I bought a lens thinking I can make it work with an adapter but turns out there hasn’t been one made. I recently bought an adapter for Fujica x (slr) to Sony e but I need for Fuji film X to Sony e(which none have been made). This is the lens https://a.co/d/4w3cW7Q can you help?

Hi, did you bought a mirrorless lens for fuji and want to use it with Sony?

Hi yes. I bought it thinking it said Sony e but it wasn’t, and no I can’t return it, so seeing if you can make a stl for Fuji film X to Sony e camera

Write me on telegram and I can help you
https://t.me/CL4PTRAP

Is there any other way I can contact

Well, where do you talk with people then?

Hey, I got the fd to ef mount conversion and the holes don't match up entirely. Two do but when you try to screw them in it's too thick and the screw don't go through... Also, not sure the mount covers the whole back as there's a big gap in the middle near the glass... I've taken it apart and now stuck.

Hello, your lens needs a specific converter mount, I can do it for you, I just need the measurements and I can send you another mount that fits your lens, write me on telegram @CL4PTRAP

Thanks for getting back to me. I don't have telegram. What measurements do you need? I saw on this video that the mount needs two parts, an aperture control ring then the top mount: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksyGsORUdis&ab_channel=YukiNoguchi Not sure that helps. Appreciate your help

Yeah, I've seen it, you need to measure the inner glass, so the new mount can fit the inner glass without leaving a too big hole, then you need to measure the distance between the screw holes, they should be 3 screws, I need the exact position of the screws, and for the aperture I'll need pictures of the lens, or you can check some YouTube videos to make the aperture work with the new mount

Hi I was wondering do you sell the NX mini top covers as well or just the file?

Hi, the file is for 3D Printing, I cannot sell a printed part since I'm in another country (Bolivia)

But I do can help you with the settings for best quality.
Print the part with a 0.2mm nozzle, with 0.1mm layer heigh, and with PETG or ABS for better durability, then you can follow this video for electroplating the part.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=7PFHT02n5V8

I plan to cnc adapter ring, can you provide the stp file? I can offer a little higher bid.

Hi, for what design? You can write me on telegram @CL4PTRAP

Hi there i bougt the md/mc to leica l mount adapter
i have tried two MC lenses both of them dont fit in the adapter, the lenses are wider in radius, maybe about 1mm or 2mm, could you provide a fixed version ?

You need to increase your printer tolerances, your printer it's making the holes too small, try with horizontal expansion and with hole expansion, you can look for tutorials on YouTube

But if you can't do it, write me on telegram and I'll help you @CL4PTRAP

Love your designs - I see adapters too accept MD mounts and for MD cameras, and for Nikon F mounts and to Nikon cameras, but didn't see specifically an MD-F or F-MD adapters, would it be possible to get both/either, since it seems youd have the files for both halves, just not yet combined

I'm sorry to tell you, but if you want to adapt lenses to Nikon F, you'll have a hard time, Nikon F only admits a few others lenses to adapt, better go for a Mirrorless camera or if you want to stay with a DSLR, better switch to Canon, that way you can adapt more lenses

Hello; have you made an Adapter Canon RF - Exakta?
Greetings

Hello, currently no, but I'll design it soon, don't worry, it'll upload it these days

I bought the canon fd to l mount and the m42 to l mount and both the L mount (in both adapter, doesn't fit on my camera) and the canon fd mount doesn't fit either

All the adapters were tested, if your print doesn't fit, check your tolerances, all the filaments expands and retract while printing, you need to calibrate your printer

I’m sorry but after finding out that your adapters couldn’t fit, I printed a bunch of others (different files) just to see if it was a tolerance error but they work fine. I bought these just because they seemed better

I bought the Minolta MD/MC to Sony E adapter and I am having issues while focusing. The Infinity Focus doesnt work at all.

What lens are you using? The lens does not reach infinity at all? Or it focus past infinity?

I am using a Rokkor 50mm f/1.7. It doesnt reach Infinity at all

Your lens may had been modified or disassembled and assembled incorrectly, try to put the lens to infinity, remove the adapter, and without any adapter put the lens on front of the sensor until you see that reaches infinite, measure the distance from the camera mount ring to the back of the lens mount, and give me that measurement, ill create another adapter for your lens only and send the file to you.

sorry for the late reply, I was very busy

Thanks for the reply, i already bought a adapter from amazon. The distance from the flange to the bottom of the lens is 24.15mm and it works perfectly.

Hey - Im getting an error with the M42 to Samsung NX Mini ADAPTER stl. Any chance you can help? The file wont open properly. The Canon EF to nx mini file worked fine :)

Yeah sure, give me till tomorrow, I'm coming back from a trip, I'll check the model and upload another

Awesome, let me know when its up, Thanks!

Hey, I just posted the new design, let me know if you have any issues

Awesome, will try and print this week will let you know if I have any issues. Do you happen to have a Leica L to Samsung NX Mini adapter design?

I can make one, currently I'm doing MFT to NX-MINI, Sony E to NX-mini and now Leica L to NX-mini

Hi! Can you design a adaptor using Panasonic Lumix mirco 4/3 lens on Nx mini camera?
Thank you

Yeah, I can do it, I'll be published in short

Thank you so much!

Imposible

I can create a new mount that fits both, but you'll need to disassembly your lens, if you want an adapter, you'll have a macro lens only

Sorry, I meant for the camera body. I’m looking for a dual bayonet lens mount for an EF-M camera, allowing compatibility with both EF-M and Sony E lenses, similar to the one in the link. Ideally, it should work with the M6 Mark II.

You'll need to replace your camera bayonet mount, research "Flange distance" and you'll understand

That's fine, Sony E and EF-M are relatively close if not the same. 18mm,m they just have different mounts of course.

Yeah, and if you add an adapter, even if it's only 1mm thick, the lens will only focus to 15cm instead of infinity, the only solution to what you need it's to change the camera mount

Thats fine, I'm comfortable which changing my camera mount, just would like to get a camera mount that accepts both EF-M and Sony E. I have M6 Mark II so would like to still use it but use some of my manual Sony lens/adapters as well.

I also have the M6, wonderful camera, but what you need it's kinda too complicated, and not worth it

Alright, its was worth asking, saw you have the camera and you had experience with mounts and adapters. Figuring you would be best person to do it. Well, thanks for having a quick chat about it.

Sure, but one thing I did figure it out, I can create an adapter for vintage lenses that fits both Sony and Canon M, I'll do some prototypes.

Ok, let me know once you release them, Would like to test them out.

Sure, also, why you don't buy the grip? Lol

I like the height of my camera lol fits my hoodie and jacket pocket without issue, if there was a compact airtag base arca plate, would buy it right away.

I see, for me it's too small lol

Thats valid lol a folding grip would be cool.

Hello, thank you for your time spent on this adapter. I contact you because I bought your canon rf MD adapter and there is an issue on the lock. It is not on the right place. Need 4-5mm after. So could you promote a new version please ?

Hello, yeah sure, can you send me photos on which part you want a change? You can write me on telegram @CL4PTRAP or send me an email to gian.vidal.flower@gmail.com

I sent you the picture on telegram.

Hi there ..... downloaded your PK-FX and FD-FX adapters and both work perfectly straight off the printer. The placement of the inner aperture 'foot' in the FD adapter to allow the f-stops to function is spot on! Nice designs that look good too! Compliments to your work! Thank-you!
Regards, Trevor.

Hey, many thanks, I'm working on a redesign of all my adapters, so they will look better and will have a locking pin just like a real metal adapter.

Hello, i bought and printer fd to nx mini lens but i am not able to block the adapter. Let me know if we can communicate with email to send images. thank you

Hello, yes sure, write me at gian.vidal.flower@gmail.com
Or at telegram @CL4PTRAP

Hi, I just bought Nikon bayonet cap, but cannot download.

What? I don't sell Canon caps

Not Canon, Nikon

What issue do you have? The files are there, or if you can't download, give me an email address so I can send you the file
