Hi, it is not designed to be functional! The individual parts are there only for display purpose. There is not enough clearance for the parts to move.

Hello! I’m wondering if the model for the desert tech bullpup rifle comes with assembly instructions? I’m not a gun person, it’s a gift but it seems like I’ll need to assemble it. If not, is it possible to get a redesign with less parts?
Hi. Sorry, there is no assembly instructions for it, it takes some time to make one. But i could make a diagram for You. A quick guide of some sort.
The parts have built in tolerances so they can be assembled even with paint on them, so i would have to remake a lot of them to make less parts (someday in the future i will make a 1/16 version of it, it then could be scaled back to 1/3).

I will add it to my ToDo list, but it will take some time. I mostly do models of guns i own in real size, and i unfortunately don't own a SS2.

the Barrett rifle family is on my ToDo list and i think i can add the BAR also... the problem is i don't have much time on my hands and too many open projects 😞 (for example H&K MP7 and MP5, mk. 18 MOD. 1 and MOD. 2, M249 SAW, Winchester 1873, M3 Greesegun).
Please be patient, it takes some time for me to release them, because i draw them from scratch from pictures, drawings, dimensions, actual guns, ... . Then do a test print and modifications before release.

yes, there will be many more 1/3 scale models - it is my favorite scale.
There is for example H&K MP7 and MP5, mk. 18 MOD. 1 and MOD. 2, M249 SAW, Winchester 1873, M3 Greesegun as Work in progress. And lot’s more on my to do list. But it takes some time for me to release them, because i draw them from scratch from pictures, drawings, dimensions. Then do a test print and a few modifications before release.

Wouldn't you maybe prefer a MK18 Mod 1 ... I'm working on it right now, it will have a free float RIS handguard, gas block and flip up sights. It is no problem to change the stock for an early one.
That does sound pretty epic actually! Potential for an integrated suppressor with a free float RIS handguard too, looking forward to seeing the result 😁

Oh, so You would like to make Snake's "M4 SOPMOD" ... that could be done. I am more of a Mil-Spec guns guy, but it looks like everything on his rifle is based on real world accessories.

Hi there, sorry for this late reply, Your message kinda slipped through. I am working on the exact replica of Snakes M4 SOPMOD rifle. There are a few Accessories that i have to make from scratch. Just to let You know, here is a screenshot of the progress so far. I will make a "Kit" version in 1:3 scale for assembly and a 1:16 version that will be as one piece - that You can then upscale to 1:6 without loosing any details.

Hello, I'd love your M16A1 and would buy it, however, can you make a single piece STL for a complete rifle? Also, with 20 and 30 round mags. These would sell very well in my opinion as military figure modelers do not have good M16A1 options. 1/35 and 1/16 scales would be epic. Thanks!
Hello, i am very glad to hear, that You like it. I thought, that it would be easier to print out separate parts and the assemble it (but it is not so downscaling friendly, i guess). Thank You for the suggestion of making other scales, i give it a try (i guess i would have to modify the existing design, fill in the woids and change the wall thicknes of some parts). I hope i can post the one piece rifle and other scales soon... my printer is currently not functional and i want to post files only verified that they will print OK. You know what? Let me send You the moddified files of the M16A1 (for free) as soon as i will make them. And You tell me if they are anny good?

Hello, there are no gaps, but very thin walls… so if you print it with a nozzle that is wider than the width of the wall you will get gaps. That’s why i wrote in the description that it’s recommended for SLA printers.
