Hey! I was really inspired by your work, so I tried making a similar model. It’s not as good as yours, but I’d love if you could check out my effort!

Hi Bob
Do you have a 4 aspect signal version with junction 1 & 2 feathers and also 1 & 4 feathers?
Chris
Sorry Chris, I don’t
Bob
Hi Rob
Not sure which model you are referring?
Bob
Bob
just looking at your DSW set can it be scaled to 28mm?
Rob
Hi
Fencing is 4mm scale so perfect for OO gauge. 1/76. Just print them as they are - no scaling necessary

Modular Palisade Fencing for FDM printers
Hello what would i need to do to make them 00 gauge 1.76 scale please
Sorry but the straight one is the only one I will be doing. Different people would require different curves.
Bob
Hello, Congratulations on your models! Do you have a curved stone viaduct like the straight model 1380686?
Thank you very much. Best regards, Patrice
Hi Bob,
I recently came across your 2/3/4/feather aspect signals and tried printing the demo print with good success.
In your instructions you use 2.38mm OD brass tubing (3/32") for the signal post.
Unfortunately the imperial measurement tubing is not available in Germany, the nearest being 2mm, but then the fit in the 3D parts is very slack. It is still possible to get 8 wires (3 aspect + feather) through this tubing though.
Would it be possible to provide a version of each signal with 2mm holes in the ground plate and signal head.
Thanks in advance.
Pete
Hi Pete
I will have a look at my original drawings and see if I can alter them to 2mm for you. May take a couple of weeks before I get back to you
Bob
Hi Pete
Could I have your email so I can send you a modified signal head to try before I do them all. Thanks
Bob
Thanks. How can I send you my email address without it being public in this thread ? For your information, I tried modifying the demo version STL for the base and have found that a hole with a diameter of 2.2mm is the correct fit
Pete
Sorry but now I have had a proper look at what would be involved in altering each variation of signal and then uploading them to Cults I feel it is just too much to do as a one-off job. You could alter the hole diameter by editing the STL file as you have already done this, or wrap some self-adhesive tape strips around the tubing to enlarge them, using a two part epoxy to fill any gaps in fit of the tubing.
I would have liked to help. Good luck with modifying the signals if you do decide to go ahead.

Hi Liam
I am retired and 3D printing is my hobby. Currently trying to keep my sales to under £1000 per year allowed as ‘hobby’ income so sorry, but not interested in promoting to increase sales.
Bob
Hi there,
I hope you are well?
My names Liam and I am emailing from BRM (British Railway Modelling) Magazine.
I just wanted to email through to you today to see if you may be interested in our upcoming 3D Modelling E-Newsletter? I’ve been working on getting it included within our E-Newsletter schedule as I felt as though it hadn’t been highlighted enough, especially with the popularity of 3D modelling and printing ever increasing and have finally got it over the line and so thought you would be a perfect fit!
It will be released on the 15th of June to our 25,000 subscribers as usual and comes in at £70+VAT for a banner on there, we can also create the design for you, free of charge if that helps at all!
Do let me know if you're interested!
Hi Neil
175 looks OK

Hi
I am interested in purchasing the buffer stop kit to print on a resin machine. What percentage would I need to print it at for O gauge? If the model is 00 I usually set at 175%
Thanks
Neil
Hello Bob
Is your Victorian building 4mm or 2 mm>
Very interested in it but wanna know what scale it is .
Rick
Hi Rick
Files are 4mm but will print OK in 2mm if scaled down and printed with a .2mm nozzle and a 0.1mm layer height. You should be able to scale them to half size in your slicing software.
Bob
Hallo. In welchen Maßstab ist der Lokschuppen ?
Kann ich Ihn in Maßstab 1:72 Drucken ß Lg Thomas
Is 1/76 scale so May need scaling up slightly for 1/72

Hi Bob,
I downloaded your canal locks 1320388. I need to scale it for a N Gauge layout, but I need know the scale of your original design. I suspect you designed it for O Guage, correct?
Canal locks are 4mm (OO) gauge. Should scale up OK but you may have to cut some pieces using your slicing software to fit on your build plate. If scaling down (eg N scale) the a .2mm nozzle and 0.1mm layer height will give best results
Bob
Thanks so much. BTW, your designs are beautiful!
I think you are meaning the terrace houses. Might be OK in resin but quite a lot of work in supporting each individual piece and depending on your scale, you might need quite a big build plate. Happy for you to try it and I will give you a refund if it doesn’t work.
Bob
Hi. Do you think this is suitable for resin printing? Great design 👍
I think you have found and downloaded the N gauge version? Any feedback welcome. Bob
Ref:TT120 GAUGE MODULAR DRIVE ON STORAGE CASSETTES
hi there can this be adapted for N gauge?
I have printed the storage cassette in N scale simply by printing it at 50% however I do intend doing a ‘proper’ N scale version which can be similar lengths to the OO/HO versions. I need to do some work to make sure it fits N scale track and ‘clicks’ together properly. Hopefully my next project so ready in a week or two
Bob
Hi there can the cassette storage system be adapted.to n scale?
Looks brilliant, well done
