SST - Sliced head

I'm delighted to present my latest achievement: a 3D-modeled and printed sliced head, a teaching tool for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training.

Why is tilting the head crucial?

In emergency situations, airway clearance is an essential step in CPR. Tilting the head, combined with tilting the chin, opens the airway, ensuring optimal airflow during chest compressions and insufflations.

The importance of visualization :

Understanding the correct head-slice technique can mean the difference between life and loss of life. That's where the head-slice comes in. By allowing visualization of the movement, this tool offers a practical, didactic experience, reinforcing understanding of the gestures essential to CPR.

One of the great strengths of this 3D-printed slice head is its increased accessibility. The use of 3D printing, a low-cost technology, makes it possible to manufacture this training tool in an affordable and scalable way. By using PLA filaments, a bio-degradable material, we are promoting an environmentally-friendly approach, while making it easier to produce these models. By adopting this technology, we are making CPR training more accessible to a wider audience, whether in healthcare, education or other fields requiring first aid awareness. This approach democratizes access to quality teaching tools, helping to train more professionals in life-saving techniques.
