Playmobil Compatible Minigun

When your Playmobil guys positively need to wipe out their enemies it's time to call in the big guns! "Ol Painless is waiting'!"

This is a three part model of the Playmobil compatible version of an M134 Minigun, or more specifically, the version made for Predator. The minigun itself is made of two parts, the barrel and everything else. An ammo pack is included as well that clips around the figures neck. In the photo of the finished print, I've attached a piece of 1/4" black elastic band meant for clothing to represent the ammo chute. There is a depression in both the weapon and the ammo pack where something like this can be attached. This addition is obviously not included, but this sort of elastic, a flat shoelace, or a flat wire could be used, or you could just pretend! It doesn't matter because it's your figure!

The assembled minigun is 54mm long and 22.6mm wide. The handles were placed to allow the weapon to be held as shown in the photo. The barrel attaches by pushing it through the sleeve attached to the foregrip, back into the main body of the gun. The split pin on the back of the barrel part will snap into a hole inside the main body. The fit is pretty tight, but it should rotate freely. If it doesn't, the easiest fix is to lightly sand the cylinder around the barrel assembly closest to the pin, and/or the smaller radius of the cylinder that fits into the ring towards the front of the main body. Use the photo for reference, but it should be fairly obvious. While the gun will fit in the hands of virtually any Playmobil figure, the ammo pack will only fit a figure that has nothing on its shoulders or neck; it fits the same way as a cape accessory.
