Understanding The Configurations
Fat Base vs Slim Base:

Fat (143mm): More tilted hit angle = more water contact = increased cooling

Slim (121mm): More upright = faster clearing, lighter, more portable

Short Beaker vs Tall Beaker:

Short (85mm): Compact water chamber, carb on neck to avoid leakage

Tall (105mm): Maximum water capacity, carb on beaker wall for ergonomic reach

The Assassin Configuration: Tall Fat 280mm with 120mm stem = you become the neck. Maximum degeneracy, absolute monster setup.

Joint & Compatibility
All bongs use standard 18.8mm female tapered socket. Joint position is 11mm higher on tall beaker variants compared to short beaker models.

In addition to included downstems, all bongs fit standard 18.8mm glass counterparts. Printed downstems fit glass bases. Glass downstems fit printed bodies. Standard 18.8mm ground glass taper throughout.

Note: Because of tolerances, included downstems aren't optimal for glass bongs. For glass-compatible downstems, visit hashishigh.com

Smooth with both 14.4mm and 18.8mm bowls

Materials
PETG (Recommended): Best ease and strength balance. Reliable water resistance. Can be food-safe. Heat resistant. Tested extensively.

ABS (Advanced Users): Requires enclosed heated chamber or careful tuning. Extensive washing after printing (multiple rounds to remove residual). Amazing finish. Super durable and more heat resistant than PETG. Overkill for bong body but finish quality is excellent. Best option for downstems.

PLA (Will Probably Work): Not ideal for downstems (strength) or long-term bong durability (water-tightness, machine washability). Will probably operate fine for most users but not quality-assured by this project.

Assembly
Print your chosen configuration and height

Print compatible downstem from recommended_downstems folder

Test-fit downstem into 18.8mm joint

Fill with water to test level

Check for leaks at base

Clean thoroughly before first use (wash twice if using ABS)

About Carb Holes
Short beaker models (Short Fat, Short Slim): Carb placed on neck section to avoid water leakage from compact beaker. 9mm diameter, comfortable finger placement.

Tall beaker models (Tall Fat, Tall Slim): Carb placed on beaker wall, positioned high to accommodate maximum fill. 10mm diameter, ergonomic reach.

Every design comes with and without carb hole. No-carb models are fully sealed for those who prefer slide-style clearing.

Design Philosophy
All tolerances tuned for perfect fit without post-processing. Modular system allows mix-and-match experimentation. Standard 18.8mm throughout means compatibility with glass accessories. Torus-style ribs (on ribbed models) provide grip without sharp edges.

Choose your configuration based on preference:

Want maximum cooling? Tall Fat

Want portable? Short Slim

Want balanced heavy hitter? Tall Slim

Want compact with good cooling? Short Fat

Tested on Bambu Labs H2S with PETG and ABS. These settings work reliably for all designs. PETG recommendations provided as they passed quality assurance for leaks, porousness, and user safety.

Basic Settings
Material: PETG (recommended, heavily tested)

Layer height: 0.24mm

Nozzle: 0.4mm (0.42mm line width)

Infill: 15% (can go as low as 5%)

Walls: 2 loops minimum, 3 recommended for beaker section (use modifiers)

Supports: Not required

Critical Setting — Solid Base
First 25 layers (for 0.24mm line height) should be 100% infill. Go up to the beaker taper starting point + a few millimeters over it. This ensures watertight seal for years, prevents leaks at high-pressure beaker base, and print stability for reduced infill in upper sections.

How to Add Base Modifier in Bambu Studio
Right-click object → Add Modifier → Cylinder

Size: slightly larger than base diameter

Height: 25-30 layers (~6-7mm)

Align to bottom

Set modifier infill to 100%

Position to cover beaker angle transition

Note on Supports
If slicer is hyper-vigilant, it wants to support carb holes and some arbitrary neck ribs. These can be ignored — prints are super safe.

Note on Nozzle Sizes
Changing nozzle size will affect joint tolerances (tuned for 0.42mm line width). Contact sgs@sgs.sh for tuned STLs if needed.

Per bong at 0.24mm layer height:

Short Fat/Slim 280mm: 7-9 hours

Short Fat/Slim 340mm: 8-10 hours

Short Fat/Slim 400mm: 9-11 hours

Tall Fat/Slim 280mm: 8-11 hours

Tall Fat/Slim 340mm: 9-12 hours

Tall Fat/Slim 400mm: 10-13 hours

Downstems: 2-4 hours depending on length and configuration
