3D model description

This is a model of a 1950's garbage truck body. It is part of a modular series of truck cabs, beds and bodies. This approach allows a wide variety of trucks to be assembled with a minimum number of designs. It was developed for N(1:160) or Z(1:220) scale model railroad usage. As such, some details were made slightly oversize to survive the manufacturing process. Other details were omitted because they were too small to print reliably.

3D printing settings

The prototype dimensions are 8' wide, 10'9" high and 17'6" long. Please remember to adjust for your scale before printing. Orientation is upright, supports will be required. Consider setting the hollow setting on your slicer to save on print materials.

  • 3D file format: STL
