Magnetic Vibration Isolation Feet

After much testing I was not able to get my printer to magnetically levitate. I'm leaving this up as Work in Progress in case someone wants to keep working on it.

These feet allow a 3D printer to be magnetically levitated to isolate the 3D printer from the surface it sits on. This may help reduce the operating noise of a running printer and will make your printer even cooler while it floats in mid-air.

Three sets of these feet can support my 10 lb delta printer with filament; I imagine they can support heavier printers but I haven't tested further. Those magnets can be purchased on Amazon; here's a link to get a twenty pack which has enough magnets to make up to four feet.

The foot and the insert are designed to accept two magnets each.

When printing these feet the print needs to pause before the magnet chamber is capped off. I recommend checking the layer number that starts the capping and putting a M226 or M0 right before the layer starts; insert the magnets when the pause happens and continue normally. The holes in the insert can be used to trap the insert inside the foot.

There are two versions of this print - one with the magnets at different heights in the insert and the outer foot and one with the magnets at the same level. The set with magnets at different heights is better because the magnets can be closer together but requires two different pauses if the insert and foot are printed together. I haven't tested the same-level set but they should work almost as well. The same-level set has "single pause" in the name.

I reworked jdmoto's mesh to use a thinner and less expensive magnet, capture the magnets, and better expose the inner workings.
