3D model description

This file allows you to print a build plate holder so that after a print you can mount the build plate vertical over the vat, allowing the excess resin to drain from the plate back into the vat.

This helps reduce resin waste and cleanup. I found it difficult to accomplish this on the Saturn 3 since the build plate cannot be mounted vertically like in the Saturn 2.

This holder is installed on the side of the vat and does not interfere with the build plate or the lid when closed (see pictures). It does not require any additional hardware and is printable with minimal supports.

3D printing settings

This file was sliced in Prusa 2.6.0 at 0.2mm layer height and 40% infill. It was printed on an Ender 5 Plus using PETG.
