This is a 3D scan of a Triceratops toy. I had origanally scanned the toy to be used in a 3D rendering project and decided to make it printable also.
Images shown are printed at 0.2 layer height and the print is 100mm nose to tail. Printing larger should result in even better detail. Supports are needed.
Relatively new to the 3D printing world but not design. I've have been hand fabricating in wood, metal and fiberglass for a long time. My day job is in the digital world as a Technical Art Director at a large video game studio where I specialize in photogrammetry.
