🛠️ Assembly Instructions
For Bambu LED Kit version
1. Print Parts:
* Print the Shade (using the critical "The Shade" settings listed above).
* Print the "Bambu Lamp Base" component (using the "The Base" settings).
* (Optional but recommended): Print the "LED Twist-on Ring" (using the "The Base" settings).
2. Attach the LED kit to the Base:
You have three options to secure the Bambu LED kit inside the "Lamp Base":
* Option 1 (Easiest - Recommended): Use the printed "LED Twist-on Ring". Place the LED puck in the base and secure it by twisting the ring into place.
* Option 2 (Easy): Use the double-sided adhesive piece that comes included with the Bambu LED Kit.
* Option 3 (Advanced): Use the screws provided in the Bambu LED Kit.
3. Route the Cable:
Before attaching the shade, securely press the LED cable into the special groove provided within the base. This is a critical step to prevent the cable from being pinched or damaged when you twist on the shade.
4. Attach the Shade to the Base:
The tree and base connect with a twist-on feature. Align the grooves on the tree with the tabs on the base, press down gently, and twist clockwise to lock it in place.
5. Plug it in and enjoy!
For E27 and E14 LED Light Bulb Versions
1. Print Parts:
* Print the Shade (using the critical "The Shade" settings listed above).
* Print the "E27 Base" or "E14 Base" (using the "The Base" settings).
* (Optional): Print the "Cable Screw" (using the "The Base" settings).
2. Attach the Socket to the Base:
* You will need a cord set like the IKEA Stråla or similar.
* Insert your socket into the printed base. The socket must have a collar and nut or two nuts so that it can be firmly squeezed/sandwiched onto the lamp base.
3. Route the Cable:
* Press the cable into the groove at the bottom of the base.
* Screw in the printed "Cable Screw" over the groove, to ensure the cable stays seated inside the groove so the lamp sits flat. It is designed to compensate for different cable diameters—simply tighten it as much as needed until the cable doesn't move.
* Tightening: The screw is designed for convenience; you can tighten it easily using just two fingers, a coin, or a flathead screwdriver.
4. Attach the Shade to the Base:
The shade and base connect with a twist-on feature. Align the grooves on the shade with the tabs on the base, press down gently, and twist clockwise to lock it in place.
5. Install your LED light bulb, plug it in, and enjoy!
