3D model description

Parrot Beak Coat Rack

After the success of the eagle's beak, I designed a new model for those who prefer tropical birds, the parrot's beak.

Hang your coats and towels on the parrot's beak. Be careful not to get bitten!

(You will need a rubber band for it to work.)

3D printing settings

Use at least two perimeter loops.

Suggestion: print the pieces "right tongue" and "left tongue" separately and then paste.

God job but, were can I find that rubber?

Hi, how much weight does it support?
Does it hold up as you hang your jacket?

Had a lot of Problems printing your Design. Since the Models are upside down when you import them, i have to lay them flat. In Cura this is no problem BUT i think its not laying down correctly on the build plate, so the models won't stick but the purge line and the skirt sticks perfectly. It took me a whole day to figure this out after changing nozzle and ptfe tube, changes filament an leveled the bed a hundred times. I placed the model Z-0.4mm in cura and tadaaa, it sticks. But now the back plate is 0,4mm thinner and this is the place where it should hold on the wall. Could it be possible that the back of the base and top is not perfectly flat? Or is it just Cura`s Error? Do you have plans for a wider rack in a more conventional design? maybe a boring 5x hanger but with your mecanism? That would be awesome!

Hi, how are you? I'm from Chile. I would like if you could give me THE PICO DEL LORO HANGER for free

Hi leeya! Thanks for the feedback. I made a version for two screws and it is already available.

Hi, any chance you update the design to have 2 screwslots. Just to prevent the beak from turning to the left/right over time.

Hello Lyndsay, you will need an elastic cut with a little more than an inch, make a knot on each end and fit them in the gaps behind the model. I hope that with this and the gif available on the model page I have helped you. Thanks for message.

Olá Rodrigo! Fico muito feliz que tenha gostado e agradeço pela compra. Mas ao comprar este STL, você só pode fazer uso privado e pessoal dele e não pode vendê-lo. Lamento e obrigado pela mensagem.

Hello PORKENCHOP89, when buying this STL, you can only make private and personal use of it and you cannot sell it. Thanks for message.

Hi Justin, for this impression I used 15% fill, but the most important thing is to use more perimeter turns for better resistance. does not need supports.

Hello SYSPHP, when you buy this STL, you can only make private and personal use of it and you cannot sell it.
