3D model description

Tiny. Lightweight. Flight tested. Can easily reach 1000+ feet on a proper engine. Around 4 hours of print time.

R-1E/Р-1Е geophysical rocket was based on the R-1 ballistic missile that in turn was based on the infamous A-4/V2 german weapon. Single staged, with a detachable capsule up top, it was used to send equipment and live animals just over the Karman line. 5 out of 6 launches were successful. Retired in 1956.

Print all the details save for fins in vase mode with 0.4mm nozzle. Assemble with CA glue. Fins can be either printed or made out of thin balsa if you are a fan of old school techniques. Engine mount is designed for 10N or 20N МРД or Estes engines. First launched at the annual model rocketry festival in St. Peter and Paul fortress where she want so high I was not able to find it afterwards.
