3D model description

When modelling railways or dioramas it is always tricky to transform painted baseboard into an authentic looking road. This collection of parts will allow you to slice and dice parts to suit your layout exactly and furnish it with a beautiful uniform cobbled street and pavements. Also included are all the same models with a plain surface.

Added some larger radius bends, 45degs & 90degs, cobbles & plain

3D printing settings

General
Flashprint app comes with Standard, Fine or Fast. I tend to use Fine for N Gauge and Standard for OO/HO Gauge.
Temp 220c mostly but PLA can vary.
Bed is always 50c or cold glue.
Infill mostly default 15%.
Supports not required.

Printing Suggestions
The selection of pieces have been designed with the slicer in mind. Larger pieces can be printed on their own but consider joining smaller pieces on the slicer and have fewer joins for a neater finish. See example [Road Assembly 01.stl]. To adjust the sizes, use the slicer to crop to length or overlap two pieces for a longer result. Now there is a choice of cobble or plain surface.

Weathering
For added cobbled realism, consider daubing on a darker acrylic paint and then wiping off to leave the cracks filled for a weathered non-uniform appearance.
