3D model description

A 1/12 scale anthropomorphic cat heads designed to work with most Figma-style figures. Using a 3mm peg for the neck-joint these heads are compatible with many figures such as Figma, Revoltech, Figuarts, and Sozai-Chan/Kun.

This heads have been successfully printed in SLS nylon from Shapeways/Sculpteo using their smoother surface detail nylon (60um), but has not been tested in any other printing materials or formats. The blank head's socket is 7.70mm in diameter, so printing in a softer material MAY still work with a regular 8mm ball end of a stiff material.

The irises and pupils are concave to create a 'following' illusion effect and can be painted and filled with clear resin.

3D printing settings

When using SLS Nylon from sites such as Sculpteo, only use raw or polished finishes for either PA12 or PA12 (HD-60μm). Avoid using Chemically-Smoothed option as this will cause joints to be too loose and will not hold poses. No other materials have been tested for this print, be it professional or home-printers, so print and experiment at your own discretion.
