I am not able to find any schematics diagram to show what smd component goes where on the board I got printed. I wanted to solder them myself.

Hi, the digikeys BOM does not contain MT3608. I was about to sodler the main board then I realized that I did not have that IC. Please update that so that others after me won't have that problem.

Amazing work on the NEBULA MOUSE 6DOF! The design and functionality are truly impressive—especially seeing it work seamlessly with Fusion 360. Just curious, does it also work with SolidWorks? And are there any specific configurations or drivers needed to get it running with CAD software like SolidWorks?

Awesome Project, best DIY Space mouse I've seen so far. Seems to come close to the 3DConnexion except for the 3D printed looks...
However, altough I acknowledge your hard work, it seems like buying a 3DConnexion mouse ist cheaper than building one of yours, considering sourcing all those different parts from different shops for a one time build.
Have you considered selling complete kits including PCBs, weights, magnets, wire and electronics? I'd imagine if you order parts for 20 mouses, each of them costs probably only 30 € /USD instead of 200, making it much more attractive for a wider audience...
this could also work as a Kickstarter project!
Another question, have you checked the legal stuff? As a seller, I wouldn't risk being sued by a bunch of company lawyers...especially not for 9 bucks

Thanks a lot for the kind words! I'm really glad you like the project and appreciate the comparison to the 3DConnexion—it means a lot.

You're right that for a one-off build, sourcing all the parts from different shops can get expensive. But with careful sourcing and planning, it's definitely possible to break even compared to buying a commercial device—especially if you build more than one.

To make that easier, I allow up to 5 personal builds per user under the license, so people can experiment or share a few with friends if they want.

As for selling complete kits (tried in past) or doing a Kickstarter—that’s not something I’m planning to take on. I prefer to stay focused on the design and development side, and don’t want to get involved in sourcing or shipping.
