3D model description

Need a cool way to store and display your favorite floppy disk games on the C64?! Well look no further! I designed this awesome floppy disk box for the C64 that allows you to do just that!

This box stores up to 12 floppy disks with the wax paper sleeve over them to keep them safe within the box.

I printed mine in black with a red lid however you can mix and match colors to your aesthetic! It looks really great sitting on my game room shelf next to other vintage consoles and games!

I designed the box and lid however the plaque in the center was designed by someone else and their STL is available for free on Printables (originally modeled as a coaster) if you would like yours to look exactly like mine! For this reason I have 2 versions of the base- One WITH the space for the plaque and one WITHOUT the space for a plaque.

3D printing settings

FDM

10% infill, print with supports for model with plaque and without for the model without plaque.

187 grams of filament (including plaque).

Print takes about 6 hours in total on my printers (including plaque).
