Would you like to support Cults?
You like Cults and you want to help us continue the adventure independently? Please note that we are a small team of 4 people, therefore it is very simple to support us to maintain the activity and create future developments. Here are 3 solutions accessible to all:
- ADVERTISING: Disable your ad blocker.
- DONATE: Make a donation via Ko-Fi Donate
- WORD OF MOUTH: Invite your friends to come, discover the platform and the magnificent 3D files shared by the community!
Sharing and downloading on Cults3D guarantees that designs remain in makers community hands! And not in the hands of the 3D printing or software giants who own the competing platforms and exploit the designs for their own commercial interests.
Cults3D is an independent, self-financed site that is not accountable to any investor or brand. Almost all of the siteโs revenues are paid back to the platformโs makers. The content published on the site serves only the interests of its authors and not those of 3D printer brands who also wish to control the 3D modeling market.
I am writing to address recent concerns you have raised regarding the designs of my custom action figures. I want to clarify that each part of my figures has been meticulously designed and created by myself. While elements of my work have been inspired by several sources, including Mafex, McFarlane, and Marvel Legends, I assure you that I have not directly copied or stolen any of your designs.
Inspiration is a fundamental aspect of creativity, and I believe that drawing inspiration from existing works is a common practice in the industry. My goal has always been to innovate and enhance these ideas to create something uniquely my own. I take pride in my work and stand firmly behind my creations.
I understand the importance of intellectual property and the value of original ideas. However, I believe it is unfair to label me a thief or to harass me based on unfounded accusations. I request that you reconsider your approach and recognize the distinction between inspiration and copying.
Should any further communication of this nature continue, I will have no choice but to report it to the appropriate authorities. I hope we can move forward amicably and focus our efforts on our respective creative pursuits.
Thank you for your understanding.
