Description (English):
This is the original M11 Combat Knife model created for Project Misriah, the ambitious Halo total conversion mod for Counter-Strike 2.
The project was released and incredibly well-received by the community, showing immense potential. However, due to Microsoft's Game Content Usage Rules regarding porting assets to the Source 2 engine, the development had to be shut down permanently.
As the original creator (Barnus), I want to preserve this work. This model was designed with extreme attention to detail â its poly count and mesh quality actually surpass Valve's official Huntsman knife found in CS2.
This serves as a high-quality "dummy" knife for 3D printing, cosplay, or simply as a digital memento for Halo and CS fans who witnessed the potential of this project. Own a piece of modding history that the community loved, but was taken away too soon.

A projekt kikerĂŒlt, Ă©s a közössĂ©g azonnal megszerette, hatalmas sikert aratott. Sajnos azonban a Microsoft felhasznĂĄlĂĄsi feltĂ©telei miatt (amelyek tiltjĂĄk az assetek ĂĄtĂŒltetĂ©sĂ©t a Source 2 motorba) a fejlesztĂ©st vĂ©gleg le kellett ĂĄllĂtani.

3D printing settings
đ§ 3D Printing Settings & Manufacturing Instructions
Since this model features a higher poly count and more detailed topology than standard in-game assets, proper print settings are essential to capture the fine details of the grip and blade.
For FDM (Filament) Printers:
Material: PLA+ or PLA (easy to sand), PETG (for durability/cosplay use).
Layer Height: 0.12mm or 0.16mm recommended for best detail. Use Adaptive Layers if your slicer supports it, to smooth out the curves on the handle.
Infill: 15-20% (Gyroid or Grid) provides a good weight.
Walls/Perimeters: Minimum 3 walls (1.2mm) to ensure the blade is sturdy and can be sanded without breaking through.
Orientation:
Option A (Best Strength): Split the model in half lengthwise (if not already split) and print flat on the bed. This makes the blade strongest.
Option B (Best Detail): Print vertically with a brim and strong tree supports, though this makes the blade more fragile along layer lines.
Supports: Required. Tree supports are recommended for easier removal from the handle texture.
For SLA (Resin) Printers:
Layer Height: 0.05mm.
Orientation: Tilt the model ~45 degrees to minimize peel force and support scarring.
Hollowing: Recommended to save resin, but ensure you add drain holes near the pommel.
Why Resin? This is the best method to showcase the high-poly mesh and the smooth curves that beat the original Valve models.
â ïž Manufacturing & Post-Processing:
Sanding: Start with 120 grit to remove layer lines, progress to 240/400 grit for a smooth finish.
Priming: Use a filler primer to hide any remaining layer imperfections.
Painting: Acrylic paints or metallic sprays work best. The handle has distinct ergonomic zones that look great with matte finishes, while the blade benefits from a metallic or anodized look.

SLA (Gyanta) nyomtatĂłkhoz:
Ez a technolĂłgia hozza ki legjobban a modell magas kidolgozottsĂĄgĂĄt.
Döntsd meg kb. 45 fokban a modellt.
ĂregelĂ©s (hollowing) ajĂĄnlott, de ne felejts el kivezetĆ lyukakat hagyni a gyantĂĄnak.
