This amulet has several small details (chain, decorative elements), so for the best result, it is worth considering the following:
Printer type: A resin-based printer (SLA/DLP) is strongly recommended for this model due to the fine details of the chain and the edges of the medallion. FDM may have difficulty reproducing small elements.
Layer height:
Resin: 0.02 - 0.05 mm for maximum detail and smoothness.
FDM: If using FDM, try 0.08 - 0.1 mm, but be prepared for possible loss of small details.
Supports:
Necessary for the chain and any canopies on the medallion. Use thin, delicate supports with minimal contact, especially for the chain.
For resin printing, orient the model to minimize flat surfaces parallel to the bed for the best quality.
Material: For the heart, you can use a transparent or translucent material (resin), which can then be painted or illuminated with an LED to achieve a glowing effect.
Post-processing: Careful post-processing to remove supports. Painting the chain in metallic shades (rose gold, silver), and the heart in gradient pink and blue colors. Adding a glossy varnish for shine.
