3D model description

Castletecture is a modular system of medieval castles and miniatures, designed for 3D printing in 1:100 scale (18 mm). Inspired by 14th–15th century Europe, it balances historical realism with modular creativity — ideal for dioramas, tabletop games, or painting projects.

The system allows you to build unique fortresses piece by piece — from simple keeps to sprawling strongholds — and expand them endlessly. It’s ideal for modelers, gamers, diorama builders, or anyone looking for a rewarding printing and assembly project.

Build Your Own Castle

The castle set is divided into three main categories:
Stone (walls, keeps, towers),
Wood (gates, stables, railings), and
Roofs.
This approach makes it easy to print in different filament colors:


  • Stone → grey or marble PLA
  • Wood → brown PLA (any shade)
  • Roofs → red-brown, gray or green

The result is a modular fortress system that looks authentic and fits naturally into medieval settings for tabletop games, RPG campaigns, or display.

Painting & Display

These models are designed for painting.
Use acrylic paints or permanent markers to bring your castle to life.

At 18 mm scale, painting can be a challenge, but the result is highly rewarding — warriors look striking on castle walls or in battle scenes.

3D printing settings

  • Can be printed on both FDM and resin printers.
  • For FDM nozzle size of 0.4 or lower is optimal.
  • Materials: PLA, PLA+, PETG, ABS - any rigid filament of your liking. PETG is recommended for connectors.
  • No supports. Only gate arches may require light supports.
  • Max element size: 15.5 cm (fits most standard build plates).
