I am having a hard time printing this. The lugs seem to be printing fine, but the print between the lugs, holding the track together is not printing. Its printing separate lugs.. Any ideas to help me out?
could you put the links that you used for the bearings into the description please. Thanks for the awesome design
Hi, is there any sort of way to sell your track designs? Let me know, I would like to sell to some people
No, you may not print and sell my design under the license I distribute it by.
Hey can you put quantity next to each file?
Hi! I wanted to print this on my FDM printer and i've seen the cog, was that printed in resin ?
No, that is FDM
Hey, I have printed a couple of sets of the SCX24 tracks. Are all the parts different for this, or could you tell me what parts specifically are special to the TRX4M. Thanks.
They are all different except for the runner and tpu tracks.
hi, i have downloaded your trx4m tracks for my personal use. what if i want to print set for my friends? what do i need to do? thanks
Where do you find the smaller bearings?!
i got mine off of amazon
Is it possible for you to send me a link to the bearings you purchased?
Guess I should specify its for the trx4m tracks, didn't realize this would be a general reply my apologies
i just put the bearing size into amazon and found them pretty fast
how am I able to print the tracks for the trx4m its just gaps in-between??
im facing the same issue. did you find a fix for this. print comes out great but it generates space between the "lugs"
do you have any photos of how the wheels for your gooseneck trailer are installed? got everything printed and assembled just trying to figure out the wheels
For the scx24 tracks, what orientation do you print some of the parts in? Mainly the chassis parts.
Hey Shane, I love the Scx24 tracks you designed and I would like to suggest a redesign of the the frames to have anti rotation for the new TRX4m. I think there would be even more people making/buying these than the scx24's, given the price point of the TRX4m.
Already printing the track prototype for the TRX4M just got my trucks this morning! I will put those files up as soon as they are ready! :)
Awesome! Also I tested mine out (self printed) and the tracks were locking up after a few seconds. I'm not using ninjaflex but a relatively soft tpu on stock motor. Did you find the stock motor wasn't nearly enough and that an 050 upgrade was enough? I'm hoping this is happening because I didn't use ninjaflex
So it is a combination of both. You really need the 050 motor and I cannot stress enough how important it is to use ninjaflex. None of the other TPUs came close to NF. I do sell just the tracks alone on my etsy shop if you would like a set of NF tracks. Shoot me a message on etsy if you're interested and I'll give you free shipping!
Thanks, I think I will buy some ninjaflex so I can print other stuff but I'll let you know if I want to buy the tracks! Also I'm deciding between the injora purple and red motors, I'm just hoping the purple will have enough Torque, because I want the little extra speed it offers
so like there is not any assembly instructions???? like if your gonna sell a file you need atleast some pictures!!! i want my money back for this
how do you get the stock link balls to work in these links? The hole is too small for the ball.
Hey mate, I recently purchased the warthog from file from here and I’ve recently been thinking but wanted to ask for your go a head first as i know what its like having people rip your hard worked design… but i was considering scaling it down a little bit and modifying it to be able to build an Orlandoo hunter warthog, i would not sell these nor would i make the files available but i wanted to ask for your consent and go ahead first as it is your design!
Thanks, Josh
do you happen to have the file for the hitch ball im printing your trailer and trying to finish up the truck right now
thank you and you did great job on the files by the way
Has anyone asked about a warthog chassis that will fit the gladiator links? currently I have a built gladiator with mofo brass portals and there isnt much that it can not do. I feel with adding my set up to your warthog chassis it would create an unstoppable scx24 rig.
Hey bud just so you know the ramps are not included in the file.
Hello, so i am printing your track for the SCX 24. I am having trouble with the TPU part. It seems to be printing the ribs and everything great but the connection parts are very thin and will tear. Is there anything i can do to prevent this? Thanks!
Regarding the warthog chassis - if I print and use the high clearance link, can I use them in both the front and back? If so, do you happen to know the exact length of the links for the uppers? I will be using 4 links in front, so no Y-link. I'm printing all of my links.
Thanks!
For the SCX24 warthog chassis is it compatible with the deadbolt version? Also what were those shocks you had on your SCX?
Hey, I am having alot of trouble printing the track in TPU, the bands that connect the teeth of the tracks are printing so thin, that they just break apart. I bought a filament dryer today to make sure the temperamental TPU is printing properly, but I have printed the TRX6 tracks on cults3d with no issue. Is it possible to make those bands slightly thicker?
You definitely do not want them any thicker, in the cold they stiffen up considerably. Have you ensured your printer's e steps are calibrated properly for tpu? Also Are you using a .3mm nozzle?
I finally figured it out, the STL just wasn't being read by Cura, I put the same STL into Creality slicer and worked just fine. I have printed the 4 tracks. Now onto printing the rest. I will have to get the bearings off ebay. Due to keeping the vehicle pretty much bone stock, no brass knuckles, etc; I guess you just convinced me to go get a 5th SCX24 and keep it stock (except for motor and servo).
I was wondering what size hardware you used for the warthog. Because it look like you attached all the 3D parts with larger screws than the actual stock scx24 hardware
