Could your tiny egg vehicles be resin printed? I’m looking at a couple of entry level resin printers and thinking about what I can print with them.

Unfortunately they wont print well in resin. The clearance between the moving parts are too small and resin gets stuck inside the mechanism and fusing the parts together

Rats. They were going to be my excuse to buy my first resin printer! I printed the forklift before w/o issues but now they’re all failures. ☹️

I have reciently purchased your aircraft carrier that holds two jets. I printed the one at 100 and it would not come apart and prints strange when it is laying down. I took the file at 200 and reduced it by 50 percent and it printed better, but the hinge broke. I am printing at .2 layer height. Any help on do this file. What is the best way to print, laying down or standing up?
Also your new jet file the wing tip breaks off and the wings don't open. I have printed your jet eggs and jets without a problem.

The ship and the plane needs to be printed standing. Same orientation as the files are. Do not scale the files down because that will make the clearance to tight. I recommend 0.15mm layerheight and slow speed. Make sure the nozzle isnt to close the the bed because that will fuse the hinge

hello, when I print the SURPRISE EGG #5 - TINY FIRE TRUCK, the ladder support is sticked to the truck (maybe no enough space) and there are no way to turn the ladder to put it back on the truck axis, is it a specific parameter to set for the print ?

Hi, It looks like most aren't having an issue with printing. Mine kept failing at the same point and then I noticed when I bring the nimitz into Cura it has a horizontal gap across the lower half. Enterprise finished but printed with a line also. I've tried running a fix, but no luck. Maybe it's just Cura though.

I dont use Cura, but I tried to slice it and I am not able to see any horizontal line. If possible can you email me any screenshots of the preview in the slicer and perhaps a few photos and maybe the gcode file itself so I can take a look?

Hi! I printed your model and details were great. Unfortunately I have issues with the hinges. On the small (100) f14 I have been able to "unlock" the wings by sliding an exacto in the slot between the hinge, but for the carrier the back hinge was very "soldered" in the part where it adheres to the bed. I am quite new to 3d print, wha so you think it could be? Nozzle to close? Too high temperature? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi. If the first layer of carrier is fused it is because you nozzle is to close to the bed

Hi and thank you. That was my first supect, thanks for confirming. I raised z of 0.02. I first raised it 0.04 and I printed another model, but it wasn't attaching. I'll try again tonight.

I do have an hinged calibration cube available. it is pretty much the same hinge as on the carrier, but the model is much smaller and faster to print. can be a good help to dial in your first layer. https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/hinged-calibration-cube

Hey, that was perfect: I printed the cube with my original z calibration -4.41 and it wasn't still moving. So I dropped to -4.39 and now it works! Thanks for the suggestion! P.s I love your designs :-)

Hi i bought the aircraft carrier file a few days ago and ive run into an issue, i wanted to resin print it for better quality but every time i do, it breaks at the hinge. Any idea why or how to fix it? Thanks

Hi. Resinprinters do unfortunately not work very well with print-in-place and articulated designs. Clearances between parts made for FDM printers are usually to tight for resin. Resin will get trapped and cure the parts shut

Hey, I was wondering if this print needed stilts. My printer added them and it filled in the entire hollow inside. I think it can print without stilts but just in case does it need them

I mean the 100x carrier and by stilts i mean support raise 3d's pro 3 calls them stilts

Hello, a friend of mine saw one of the surprise eggs that I printed for my father and asked if I could print one of those surprise eggs with a concrete mixer truck inside.
